Introduction
Not too long ago, Mages were the seat of power in the Ailech Kingdom. It is said that a court of mages were formed that were to assist His majesty in the ruling of the Ailech Kingdom. Many generations of Kings had flourish with the help of the mages, and the mages themselves were able to form a tentative society in training young mages.
However, when the threats of the fomors looming ever closer and the gates of the Shadow World were opened, Alchemy, which was considered a taboo art of the fomors, became prominent since it draws out the same power as what used to produce in the Shadow World. Alchemists, who were considered dirty by the society, was quickly becoming accepted as stories of their accomplishment rang throughout the Kingdom.
Using the newfound acceptance of Alchemy, the Alchemist formed a council called the Four Vates, and overthrew the power of the Mage's Society, knocking over the mage's power in the Tara Royal Court.
Now many years have passed and the mages are trying to come back into power. The Royal Alchemist, knowing that the one advantage the mages have is that they work in the shadows, have decided to recruit budding Alchemist to work in the Shadows against them.
Now a cold, dark war is being waged between the Royal Alchemist Regime and the Mage Society, one that will never be recorded in history. Will the Royal Alchemist keep their seat of power, or will the Mage Society be successful in taking back what they lost?
This war will last for one week from Sunday May 27 to June 3!
Who will you support? The Royal Alchemist Regime or the Mage Society? It is your choice!

Game Information
How to Join
Members who will join this game will pick to join either the Royal Alchemist Regime or the Mage Society. To pick a side, private message me which side you want to join and I will add you, but here's the catch! No one will know who is a Royal Alchemist or a Mage Society member! Just like working in the shadow, you will have no clue who is your ally or enemy.
How to Attack
Now that you are a dedicated member to either the Alchemist or Mage side, you are probably wanting to attack the enemy. To attack the enemy, simple quote them and add the following image:
When you attack a person, the following things happen:
Attack Outcomes
- You successfully attack an enemy: +5 points
- You unfortunately attack an ally: -3 points
- You attack a civilian: -4 points
When you successfully attack a person, I will record it if you attack an enemy, an ally, or civilians, and add your points accordingly. If you feel that I may miss your post, you may private message me a link of said post and I will take a look at it.
However here's a catch: there are some restrictions to bomb use!
Restrictions
- You can only attack up to 3 people per day, I will recount bombs at any post past 12:00 am EST. So pick who you want to attack carefully!
- You cannot attack the same person twice. However the same person can be attack by multiple different people.
- Pick your choices wisely!

Prizes
Now what good will playing a game be without any prizes? Well we have good news. The winning team who gathers the most collective points at the end of the war will receive a special icon when Osay switches to the new forums. That is to say, you will receive a "Champion of the Shadow War Emblem".
The top 4 players of each side will also receive a "King", "Queen", "Prince/Princess", and "Jack" icon proudly displaying their efforts upon moving to the new forums.

Fun things to note: There were 2x more casualties among the innocent than hits cumulatively. Also I've seen both sides attack the same person, which is pretty entertaining.
