MabiMML.co [Official Thread]
Hey everyone Yasuno of Tarlach server here. I have posted a few times here on these forums, but not loads. Well anyways for the past 3 weeks or so i have been working on a new MML site to replace mabimml.org, and of course the .jp site. I have over 900 scrolls sitting on my hard drive, and know a lot of people who have the same amount if not more so i decided to give it a try. Before the conspiracy theory about copyright infringement is brought up please read this article i wrote here on the subject.
I still consider the site a beta honestly, because there are so many more features i want to implement. But this is also a kind of "test" in a way. If i can hit a certain threshold of traffic, then i will spend the time and money with my web team to build a system completely from scratch. You can see what features i would implement at that point in the "Support Us" section which you can see after you register on the site.
The site REQUIRES registration before you can view the music hall, showcase hall, guides area, or the support us section. I will try to read this thread, and i welcome any comments. But i would prefer you to use the "suggestions" area on the MabiMML.co forums so i can have a log/archive of them in one place.
I have 175 songs already listed, to get it going and i have 700+ in queue to be listed also i just haven't gotten to them yet. And some beta testers for the site already submitted music, and showcases as well.
To see a list of features you can look here We support ensemble/multi-part songs as well, and use High-Quality sound previews that sound just like in Mabi. Also every song showcase or music hall listing has to be approved before it will appear. This is to make sure we do not have 8,000 duplicates of one song. And that the music code is not broken, etc.
Thanks for your hopeful support, the URL is...

If you get rid of mandatory registration for viewing songs I can do like I did for mabimml.org and link to your mml page in the tools menu at the top. With mandatory registration it's much too inconvenient to be in the tools list though.

Ill consider it, but the mandatory registration is to protect the site not meant to be a burden.

To make it as convenient as possible, require only a username and captcha.
Can I has MML of LoZ Ballad of Goddess :D..?

That is already listed, and there's several different copies of that song in queue right now as well.

Also, you probably already have it in the works, but a web-based MIDI->MML converter would be great.

Well, that is possible but the only issue i (always) forsee with this is that it wont always come out very umm.. Pretty? Especially if it has a lot of tracks in the Midi. Sometimes you will get great conversion results, other time a scary mess i always recommend 3ML for this because you can convert it, then trim it/edit it. But i will add it to the future feature list it wasn't actually on there. Thanks for the suggestion. ^_^

Like 3MLE you should be able to give a list of tracks and their names so that you can select which ones to keep.

Also, a long time ago I had some old program that looked at .MP3 files and attempted to create a MIDI from them(I don't believe direct conversion is possible). Maybe you can look into that.
