Moist Ripple Water Cylinder or Ripple Tidal Wave Cylinder

I have rank 1 water cannon, rank 3 alchemy mastery, rank F water alchemy mastery (may rank later. :<). Currently wondering which would be a better cylinder to use, Moist Ripple Water Cylinder, or a Ripple Tidal Wave Cylinder. Assuming both are already fully upgraded. My main concern is I don't know how the cylinder multipliers multiplies lol. Thanks for any help!

I'm using Lizard Ripple with Rank 4 Water Cannon, Rank C Water Mastery(or however you call it), and rank D Alchemy Mastery.
I'm doing 1k hits at close range with full charge.

You probably wanna look for Synergy and Wave

Moist adds 10x to the Repair cost.

Well...really just planning to get a cheap cylinder with meh repairs so I can breeze through G11 missions when I do RA assitance lol. And yea. that's why i wanted to stick Moist on the water cylinder; since I could repair it at 90% for only 1k gold. Or, the tidal for 4k gold without moist on it. Also, Wave...seems a bit difficult to get. Same goes with Synergy. Synergy seems to be more oriented for flame alchemy as well...

Oh. No. I meant as in I was either going Moist Ripple Water Cannon Cylinder OR. Ripple Tidal Wave Cylinder. I'm not suicide enough to go moist on a tidal lol. And I'm mainly just wondering which of the two cylinder I listed above would be better. I know that Wave would be an optimal set up, but really just getting a cheap cylinder I can easily replace and won't worry if NPC's decide to fuck up the repairs.

Well I'll tell you right now. As long as you repair at Eabha, the tidal will last a pretty good length of time. I've had mine since they came out with the delegation event last year and I've lost like 4 points on it.

Tidal Wave also offers a 15% extra damage to Water Alchemy compared to Water Cylinders.

Never special upgraded mine. Best to ask Tropa in terms of to do in that situation.

Not really worried about replacing the cylinders; just wanted to know which would be more efficient lol. Since those two cylinders at the two that I have the most viable means of obtaining. Meh. Actually. In short, what i wanted to know is. Which would be more stronger; +61 water alch damage with a 15% water alch modifier, or a +34 water alch damage with a 30% water alch modifier.

You can always just buy one of those gacha moist ripple tidals for like 500k (on Alexina anyway).

I can't seem to find the damage mulipliers for the cylinders anywhere on wiki. I'm sure that they were on there before...

As for efficiency, I think the moist ripple water cylinder would be a bit more versatile than a ripple tidal since you can add in heat buster on the water cylinder and get more damage out of it than you would a tidal. If you're just spamming water cannon, I don't think I could tell you which would be better. As an estimate based on the calculations on the wiki, I'd go with the tidal since it multiplies all of your damage by 30%...the damages would probably be close though.

Sorry for my most likely confusing and contradicting answer. It's hard to decide.

I recomend Lizard/Wave or Ripple if you can't aford it.
If you have high luck and will you can replace Lizard with Syn.

Crit upgrades if your gonna use it in Hardmode alot, Full damage if your near capping Will and Luck.
