Uhmm this is my first thread so...Dont get mad for a bad thread starter T_T

Anyway

Im Playing Tian city [Vindictus Chinese version] and im getting really confuse since the vindictus wiki aint the same with the chinese version of the game like the Death crown which was supposedly unlocked at lvl 36 but it didnt unlocked so i was forced to wait for a Ruin scythe well luckily

Im finally lvl 44 after 2 months
and i have a complete +6 southern winter and a +6 ruin scythe
so guys what do you think will be my next Scythe? and Set? what lvl would it open?and is there a Tian city wiki out there? ive searched for 3 straight hours and the only thing i could find help full was this Forum i tried the vindictus forum all i got was a warning XD..

So yeah... thats pretty much it

It depends.

I don't remember sets so well and they aren't all that important until level 60. As for scythes, your scythe is already better than a base level 48 scythe, but if you want to upgrade the level 48 one to +6 you'll get about 300 magic attack and 2 critical. If you skip that one, Ivory Scythe comes at 54 and it's definitely a good one to buy. It has a base of 1,000 more magic attack than the level 44 scythe, more critical, more int, and can be enchanted with Oblivion, which is really good. After that there's a bunch of level 60 weapons and those will probably be your final weapons for a long time. The level 70's are incredibly expensive if they're even out yet in the Chinese version.

Ivory Scythe?.. hmmm... well the recipe seems kinda over priced in china believe me or not but a single piece of cloth is about 30k in here so im a little bit nervous about that scythe
well anyway tnx again rebecca well do you have any idea on whats a better sub for ivory? when that oblivion thingy where do you get it?

Cloth is 30K there? It's very common unless they've changed it on the Chinese server...

Oblivion is an enchant scroll, I'm not sure where you'd get it.

If you can hold off until level 60, a lot of good things come at that level. But until then, there's nothing but Ivory Scythe and the level 48 scythe.

you can farm enchant scroll once you're level 50, which unlocks hero mode.

30k is indeed very expansive, considering you guys are just starting out and not much gold is in the system yet.

but as time passes, there will be more materials as well as more gold in the system, and it will be relatively cheap.


And no, nothing can replace ivory (due to oblivion enchant scroll), although it's not bad waiting a bit for the price to drop down... If you want my opinion, buy the second best weapon you can use, those are usually A LOT cheaper than the best weapon available.

Here's a better database to use, vindictusdb; vindi wiki sucks by the way.

edit: oh, you can find Oblivion in "regret, too late" hero mode; it will be the one which you have to fight both a vampire mage (lightning) and vampire lancer (he will do quick stabs and upside down spins like crazy); it's also where you can farm bloodlust, which will be a very expansive enchant scroll, and highly sought after (much more expansive than oblivion)

edit 2: you can farm "counterattack" for gold, it's the one where you can spear kill 4 kobold commanders for bonus mission gold, combined with mining ore bouns mission you can get up to 26k per run; which is a lot for you guys I believe.

And, in addition to that, keep all the magic powder you found. In the update where you will get accessory enchant scrolls from leveling up to 66, 67, 68, and 69, (you can level up first and collect these scrolls all at once later) the magic powder will become extremely expansive. I personally have sold magic powder at 150k per on the day of update, later it drops down to 40k, now 20k; but it is still a lot of gold comparing to what you do now, selling it at 90 gold to npc.

In vindictus NA the Crescent moon scythe? what lvl is it unlocked there? well here in china it unclockes at lvl 22 but cant use it till 24?
i dont know why but china is pretty messed up lol

Scythes can't be used until level 24.

About the scythe options... I dunno. It depends on how patient you are and how much everything costs. Ivory with Oblivion is nearly as good as level 60 weapons. It's level 54 and it's far cheaper to upgrade than level 60 weapons so on minimal funding it'll probably at least match them.

The other ones are nice, but they're definitely a step below Ivory and the 60's and aren't comparable. If you can tolerate waiting, wait. If you can't, buy what you need and sell it back when you're done with it.

Always keep in mind that no matter what you buy, you can always sell it back later. Just don't go crazy upgrading weapons or that money could disappear and not come back. Even if you have the money to go past +5, don't until you've got a lot to spare because the benefit isn't good enough anymore to risk it resetting or breaking. Generally speaking, it's a lot better to buy things on the market already upgraded than to risk doing it yourself when you don't have a lot of money. It's expensive, but it's an usually an accurate reflection of how much money you'd need to do it yourself.

And about the buying Scythes its a big no no for me believe me or not but a crescent moon here costs about 6m and it isnt even upgraded yet

Well Is ivory really that good?. im planning on crafting it since it costs 30m in the market and is ivory like has a fast attack speed?.
well maybe im just gonna upgrade it to lvl 5 first since im going to take your advice

Anyway Do you have any Tips on hunting ingredients for the ivory?..and what are some good accessories should be good to go with the scythe?

Get whatever's reasonably priced. I don't think it's worth an extra 24m, lol. Then again, I don't know how much everything is worth there. There's really no way for me to give good suggestions because things are so different here.

it went from 30m to 50m T_T
