Ohai.
Heads up, this might be a TL; DR for some of you lazy members. But don't worry, I thought about you and decided to give a well-fitting TL; DR summary below, so all you have to do is scroll down. Don't know what TL; DR is? You're good, then. So where to start...
Well, first off, I've joined Mabination because I'm probably going to download Mabinogi first-thing tomorrow. But that's not to say I've never played Mabinogi before, which is actually true; I never really have played the game before. Back in the late '11 year, I did screw around on Mabinogi with simple gold glitches and small mods. Yes, I was pretty good with being a script-kitty. Actually, I can remember being in Dunbarton with some type of mod that made me invisible, and all the regular Mabinogi folk were in the middle of the town as they usually are. I stood behind this outcast member and played around with the meteor-shower glitch - if any of you can remember, it was where random meteors would fall down to the ground and basically lag people with horrible routers. Funny thing was, nearly everyone was blaming that silly loner; this one giant in particular came up and started blaming her. He even managed to grab some people nearby and basically form an odd mob against the loner. The rest was history; they gave out reports that they believed were true, nothing probably happened to the loner, and I had all the giggles.
I was even being friendly with the gold-glitching and dropping 50k a pouch on the ground for all to have. Of course, I bought me some fancy gear and what-not, but I never really needed it since I hardly did anything on Mabinogi.
Then that wonderful, two-week reset popped up and my account had poof'd. Didn't bother with the North American Mabinogi after that. I moved over to the Korean version; luckily, my cousin had that wonderful KSSN for me to use, so I didn't have much to worry about besides the fact that paying for those proxies were a real pain in the arse.
Eventually ended up expelled from KR Mabinogi due to questionable activities. No need to go into detail, but I will admit that the KR Staff of Nexon are very, very, VERY strict. It kind-of makes me feel like a sad-sack when I think about 'em.
Made my way to Mabinogi EU, and I also won't go into detail there. After all, Mabinogi EU is non-existent; may it rest in peace.
However, with all that aside, I still don't have a clue how you people really play Mabinogi. I see the pro-users and think to myself; how do they do that? Turns out, most of 'em started planning on how to play before even signing up. That got me thinking, "Well, that's true. Sabina managed to throw her AP at everything when she started out, and she's not much of a pro-user 'combat-wise'" - which is something I would probably want to be. I'd even fancy the idea of having alternate accounts that were dedicated to stuff besides combat, maybe.
So yeah, I'm going to actually "play" Mabinogi tomorrow, and hopefully start out on the right foot. But, being a man that believes (about 40%) that karma exists, I might end up getting my arse kicked in this game. But, I do have money, so maybe I can cheat karma out on this one; Nexon would love my money, anyway.
And so that you may know myself better; the name's BoZ. Yes, it's an actual, nickname. My real name is a secret since I dislike it so much. Of course, I also go by AzN, Hub, or Invinciboy in rare occasions; those are typically Internet names. I'm still in my adolescent years, I am both Asian and Caucasian, and I have blonde hair with blue eyes. Six-feet tall and growing, slender, and I seem to have that southern drawl about me.
Relationship-wise, I'm single and staying that way. Forever-alone, you'd think? Quite the contrary, relationships are problematic and useless, which is why I avoid them by choice. I only care about myself, I love sex more than romantic bonding, and I'm built for money. I sound like a selfish douche-bag, yeah, and it's probably true. But I'm freakin' proud of it. And no, I dislike open-relationships, too. I'd bet it'd be odd if you were about to bang a really hot chick and tell her, "Oh, just so you know, I'm in an open-relationship with this girl, but it's okay because I can still bang you." Loopy stuff, I tell you.
So yeah, I do have a pretty good life. But I do have more of an online-life at this moment, but once I finish up my Senior year at high-school, I doubt I'll be around forums and what-not. After all, it'll be a lot of hard work to become an anesthesiologist. I would also like to work as a journalist for a gaming magazine. Just throwing it out there.
So, that's all I think I have to type. While I may be a self-centered, brutally honest, double-standard kind of guy, I am also pretty friendly. I'm never really mean to people since I hardly give a damn about anything/anyone these days, nor am I really into flaming, trolling, spamming, etc. I'm too busy modding, playing a game, or watching Lolicon to be into all that stuff, y'know?
How's that for an introduction? If I say-so myself, I'd give it 11 out of 10 stars, yeah?
TL; DR summary: Hi. I'm a former script-kitty that wants to play Mabinogi 'fo realz this time. Help, plz?

I'm afraid to say yes. But - it was a very nice Introduction, I enjoyed reading it.
Even though I pretty much agree with the whole relationships thing, I don't posses the same attitude as you do on them. But, you seem pretty sincere - so I don't have any qualms XD
Allow me to express my personal welcome to the forums. I hope you enjoy your stay here!
Oddly enough, I always over-look the "read over our rules" part when I make an introduction post because I always have pre-read them, but I kept getting this error everytime I tried to look around for the rules; you, sir, have finally shown me a post that had the rules. Kudos to you.
Actually, that's the best way you could put it when saying something slightly opposed to my whole "relationship" attitude. It's 10x better than what my real-life friends say, so you've earned some of my respect, even though I'm practically a newbie and it probably wouldn't matter at this point.
No seriously, thanks for the welcome. Glad you enjoyed reading all that junk, my fingers will be aching for about an hour but it was all worth it. ^^

I do the same when it comes to community rules, but I decided to always include a link to the rules in all of my future introductions.
I'm so glad to hear it was actually helpful to a person! ^^

Well, I'm glad I've earned some of your respect. Newbie or not, I think maintaining healthy relations with other forum users is important.
You are still a person behind a computer screen, after all.~

I could probably re-use it. I never tried, but it wouldn't hurt to try someday. But I'm too lazy to really pay for another KR proxy again.
And yeah, I'll be looking into some internships during my second year of my game design class. :p

I'll need all the luck I can get if I'm going to get anywhere on Mabinogi.
I even considered modding one last time, just in case I might screw up somewhere, but the way devCAT keeps with constant updates and maintenance, it doesn't look like that'll be possible for an 'ol script-kitty.

I somehow think you're going to be fine without Luck. :P
