HLB Upgrade Path

So even though I'm not at end-game stage, I want this to be my end-game bow.
Should I go Max Damage or Max Critical upgrade path?
Should I use Blue or Red Upgrade Stones?
Thanks for any help!
Oh and I'm waiting to put Glorious on it until after I finish upgrading it.

I think you want to take max crit with artisan as the last upg.
I'd do red stones, but that's just me.

Go for the Artisan if you have the Nx to spare. Also, I recommend the highest crit path, 305c. In the long run, provided you get good max damage, R will outclass S.

If you have enough crit, go full max. If you don't have enough crit, go full crit... never go middle path.

Artisan is best, but on HLBs it can take quite a lot of NX for something decent. 15 dex 50 luck match the normal upgrade.

I think in short, at an endgame level (assuming you have ridiculous max and sufficient critical 33%)

For best average damage pick the R Type/ Red Stone
If you prefer consistant damage pick the S Type/Blue Stone

Alright, this sounds like the best idea to me. Combined with Spag's confirmation, I am confident in this path. :P
