An unscripted pilot based on the popular OMGPOP-turned Zynga title Draw Something is being commissioned by CBS, the network confirmed.
The project, which is being produced by Sony Pictures TV and Embassy Row, and executive produced by Ryan Seacrest, Adam Sher, and Michael Davis, will feature viewers and everyday users competing against celebrities for prizes.
"Each week, teams of celebrities and everyday users will test their skills in front of a studio audience to earn money and big laughs. Viewers can also play along at home for a chance to win prizes and compete with the celebrities," said CBS.
The network isn't new to web-based properties, having previously developed sitcom $#*! My Dad Says based on the popular Twitter account of the same name.
With no on-air commitments from CBS there is no word when the proposed Draw Something might finally air. However, after outbidding several networks for rights to the game show, It is believed the network may fast-track its production.
