    Well, I believe that the ability to play them with either is the intention...

    Vindictus is working perfectly after being available on steam.

    Edit: I don't use steam. Ever since steam became available for NX games, DFO won't even launch (issue's got a nice long thread on the NX forums) and Vindi's still working fine--no problems.
