I ask if these two skills are really worth Ranking them.
I mean the skills themselves, outside of Statuses.
Is that 400% regeneration towards Health and Stamina really worth it?
Is 15%-28% Wound Recovery for First Aid really do much, as compared to 10%-12% on my Rank F?
Current Rest: Rank E Current First Aid (again): Rank F
I'm definitely going to Rank up First Aid for that nice Health, but I'm debating on whether to Rank Rest for the Ancient Enchant, especially when Rank 9 and up's animations look really bad, to me, for my gender.
I hardly ever use Rest for practical purposes because of how low it is, but I feel slightly bothered by using an animation which I don't particularly like.
So, regarding that, is the benefit outside of +20 Luck from one Enchant really worth it
Also regarding how the -Will may be removed later on.
Last question: What exact Clothing can be accept for the Leather requirement on Ancient?
Anything with a Leather palette?
I know that the Flamerider Clothes count for it, despite not being an "Armor".

First aid is worth it, but I like being half support whenever I play, which is why I carry stacks of bandaids around with me. It lets me get people to 90% wound recovered or higher from 100% wounds in four stock bandaids(less if I get off my ass and make some handmade ones), which really speeds stuff up. If you don't like playing support, you won't give a shit. But 40 hp and 20 dex for 68 AP is really worth it, even if you don't like the better healing.
The extra hp from rest is 10000% worth the 0.8% crit you lose, and less than 3 max and min damage from fighter. And I really like using rest in the middle of a dungeon to restore stamina. >_>; saves me a couple pots here and there.

First aid is worth it, but I like being half support whenever I play, which is why I carry stacks of bandaids around with me. It lets me get people to 90% wound recovered or higher from 100% wounds in four bandaids, which really speeds stuff up. If you don't like playing support, you won't give a shit.
Oh, being able to do that really helps.
I would like to stop taking a whole minute to Recover-Heal someone when I have to use ~10 Band-Aids on one person.

Oh ▓▓, I didn't even see the Additional Health from Rest.
Definitely worth it, but I am still torn between using ugly sitting position but with a +20 Luck Enchant working and +50 Health than Ranking and staying at Rank A for +35 Health, no nice Luck Enchant, but also no unwanted sitting animations.
I could carry around a pillow, which I anyways keep in my pet, just to elude this, but still ):
The +Luck is what I was mainly after, but that Health looks really nice too.
Does the Health Regeneration really help?
That 1.6 Stamina per second looks really, really nice.

The human/elf r9+ rest animation isn't so bad. Giants is kinda lame though, since it's basically the human noob rest animation... If you're not opposed to modding and only care about it for your own sensibilities, you can swap around the animations.
And yes, that 50 hp is ridiculously nice. I have 430ish right now, at level 79/17. (with some hp gear on, cough cough).
The stamina regen is really nice, the HP regen is.. a bit meh-ish. 0.44 HP a second means it's 3 seconds before you even see an HP come back. might be faster to just heal yourself and then sit waiting for the stam and mana to come back, lol. If they ever release r1 rest I hope they scale up r6->r1 so that stam and hp regen actually increase over the ranks.
And it's 4 bandages to recover mooost of their wounds. I usually stop at 4 since by then they have 10%~ wound left, and i'd rather just get a move on with the mission at that point. With handmade, four is almost always 100% healed.
Rest sucks, don't rank it. HP isn't that helpful if you've ranked mana shield anyways. Furthermore, the recovery rates aren't nearly fast enough to use in missions when you could simply use cypress to regain stam.
Higher HP is 10x more useful for meleers than mana shield, simply because if you're relying on your mana to keep you alive, using mana pots will fuck over your strength in long missions/tough tanking situations. If you're a mage, you don't give a crap about strength though, so yeah, mana shield is better in that situation.

ooooo, and to the animations, it is my personal preference, but they don't look so bad now.
That First Aid though..Finest Handmade Bandages must be awesome.

Eh, I don't like to depend on Mana Shield.
Of course with the not fast enough rates as compared to Potions and such during battle, but a nice bonus when doing so; especially with a Campfire.
I have never used Cypress, although it does sound nice if hearing of it holds true.
Stamina is typically very cheap and I don't worry about it having to run out, and I use my second Equipment Slots for combat rather than just a Stamina-Recovery thing.
I would very much like to be less mushy
But I speak of the skills themselves, not so much of how the Status Additions affect them.

I do not run into Potion Poisoning, but on the instances that I do fight I rely on my Mana for Magic-oriented battles whenever I will need them in an instant.

That depends on bringing another person.
Sort of like how saying Rest is useless to Rank there because it doesn't recover in the quick of battle, such as fast Shadow Missions.
I really go solo most of the time, and it sucks having ~216 Health.

even if it did subtract will, 90 HP for 1.5% crit(r1), 50HP for 0.8% crit (r7). And even at r1 it doesn't reduce much fighter damage.
I think part of the reason they're removing the will loss is when rest was designed, fighter wasn't even remotely planned for, so a small crit&injury loss seemed kind of cool.
