Great guide. I just want to point out small error. Flame can actually go on any headgear and since alchemy doesn't rely on any stats, dexterity penalty on Blunt can be ignored and serve as alternative/place holder for Vine or Round with exception for elves.

Also, thanks for pointing out the round enchant. I had always thought I was stuck with my vine burning goggle cap for the rest of my days.

Most Alchemist starts out with rank 1 Water Cannon then to Fire or whatever they plan on to do. But if you think Water Cannon is useless, then rank Flame Burst straight away.

Uhm have a hard time reading what you say honestly.. Anyways Water Cannon is 1.2 second prep time, plus the range isn't as long as bows so it wouldn't help. Since it pushes the player back further, yeah. Wouldn't help. Anyways I don't do PVP and when I do, I go all out. Wings of Eclipse, Wings of Rage, Flame Burst. Fighter, and such. Unfair but hey, I'm going to win. :x

Would any magic bolts be useful for an alchemist? Say .. for an alchemist atm, but hybriding with melee. I have 4 reset capsules left and I have rank 1 lightning bolt, rank 5 magic mastery and rank 6 thunder. Thunder and magic mastery for rafting and for alchemy mastery.
I use lightning bolt occasionally for stun purposes. Its useful. I also got thunder rank novice or .. F, don't remember. For Alchemy Mastery myself. Though you don't need Rank 1 Lightning Bolt. Just need it for the first rank which has faster load time for lightning bolt. Unless you plan to hybrid with magic. It doesn't need to be higher. Also helpful for melee too. You can keep your magic mastery at that rank or higher. I'm getting it to simply have more MP.
