Flame : Flame is the best enchant but it's hard to get. Maybe wait for an event or try to get in later on when you can.
Great guide. I just want to point out small error. Flame can actually go on any headgear and since alchemy doesn't rely on any stats, dexterity penalty on Blunt can be ignored and serve as alternative/place holder for Vine or Round with exception for elves.

Isn't the flame enchant under the wrong subtitle? Should be a suffix not a Prefix. Also, Burning enchant = 6% crit (5% crit if Wc is ranked pass 9 due to -10 will) while Flame enchant = a possible 6-9% crit (when firebolt and fire shield are ranked the the appropriate levels. Flame enchant would also work well with the Elementalist enchant if you rank Firebolt one more rank to r9.
Just thought I'd point that out since one would probably use Flame over Burning in end game. However, as a beginners guide, burning works out fine since it's easier to get.
Also, thanks for pointing out the round enchant. I had always thought I was stuck with my vine burning goggle cap for the rest of my days.

thx for the guide i resently deranked fighter skills to be a fire alch with melle on side since i already have a bunch of rk 5s n up im doing as guild said n rking flameburst chain n flame mastery first but the real reason i swiced was pvp c fighter ops melle but it wont do well against anyother class if they try to do pure fighter how ever irealy did this to fight rangers who have always been n still are opar spam or if elf just run n shoot now with this genisis update they can load counter while we carge then go back to ar spam so my question is can i use flame alchemy 2 effeciently shut down rangers? or should i switch to wc before rks get to high?

Most Alchemist starts out with rank 1 Water Cannon then to Fire or whatever they plan on to do. But if you think Water Cannon is useless, then rank Flame Burst straight away.
Also, in higher leveled dungeons or SMs or whatever, you want to have rank 1 Chain Cylinder first.
So I suggest you to rank up Water cannon along with Alchemy Mastery and Chain Cylinder

Uhm have a hard time reading what you say honestly.. Anyways Water Cannon is 1.2 second prep time, plus the range isn't as long as bows so it wouldn't help. Since it pushes the player back further, yeah. Wouldn't help. Anyways I don't do PVP and when I do, I go all out. Wings of Eclipse, Wings of Rage, Flame Burst. Fighter, and such. Unfair but hey, I'm going to win. :x

Would any magic bolts be useful for an alchemist? Say .. for an alchemist atm, but hybriding with melee. I have 4 reset capsules left and I have rank 1 lightning bolt, rank 5 magic mastery and rank 6 thunder. Thunder and magic mastery for rafting and for alchemy mastery.

I use lightning bolt occasionally for stun purposes. Its useful. I also got thunder rank novice or .. F, don't remember. For Alchemy Mastery myself. Though you don't need Rank 1 Lightning Bolt. Just need it for the first rank which has faster load time for lightning bolt. Unless you plan to hybrid with magic. It doesn't need to be higher. Also helpful for melee too. You can keep your magic mastery at that rank or higher. I'm getting it to simply have more MP.
