As for why you're wrong, The gameplay, voice acting, and visuals in DE:HR are infintely better. The only downside is DE:HR is much shorter of a game.

Not that I want to take a side here, but a very large number of DE fans seem to be very vocal about their appreciation for the original game in comparison to their disappointment in the HR one.
