Look at Canada. For small crimes or crazy people, they don't have guns over here.. many of the crimes are done by normal peopel who turned bad or broke down somehow. Because of the "normal people" background, they aren't able to get access to gun like other normal people. So that atleast take care of the smaller crimes.. Now for the large ones.. Even if you got a gun, chances are they will be better than you at usingo ne.. having a gun can even be more risky since they will not hesitate to shoot you if they think you have one. The chances of been shot down by a gun is a lot less high when you don't have one.

Let's take that logic, and think about how long Canada has had gun control. Hasn't there been gun control since like the 30s?

While I agree with some of your points, I am all for gun rights because, with many of these publicized shootings, the guns are obtained legally. How does taking away the right to bear arms solve that problem? It only increases the demand for underground trade. I'm sure we'd all feel a lot differently about this story if he had obtained the gun illegally.
