And also, a huge rant time.

Okay, so there's this girl in my grade I really do not get along with. I don't "hate" people, but this girl is about as close as it gets. She's just, frankly put, a two-faced bitch. She'll be sugary sweet and complimenting you one minute (although it just doesn't sound like a compliment when it comes out of her mouth) and the next she'll be harassing you and laughing at you. I've never gotten along with her so maybe that's the thing. Other people feel the same way about her.

But anyways, she's nasty to me, and even worse, she's nasty to my friend. Except everyone is nasty to my friend. My friend is so sweet and blissfully naive and just goes along with things, that it scares the living shit out of me sometimes. She made study guides for our English class last year and was nice enough to share them with everyone (which we weren't really allowed to do), and 2FB (let's call her that, it sounds fun) told me point-blank to my face that it was the shittiest piece of shitty shit that she had ever read and it was totally useless, but she took advantage of it anyways. Even worse, she said it was bad because of 'the grammar', which was ruder still because my friend doesn't speak English as her first language, and her English is close to flawless.

That pissed me off, because my friend had put so much effort into it and on top of that, let a bunch of people that didn't deserve it have it (we live in a preppy upper-middle-class spoiled-white-brats town, neither of us are those things). So I told my friend what 2FB said, and she just shrugged it off. And she kept releasing the study guides to everyone while 2FB kept making fun of her guides to her friends and was outright nasty to her in class every time she talked, and would just make fun of her while she was sitting there minding her own business. My friend clearly doesn't like it, but doesn't do anything about it. I don't want to fight her battles for her but it infuriates and enrages me that 2FB just walks all over her.

So fast forward to today, I just got home from my trip to Maine. My phone vibrates, someone is texting me, but i'm tired so I take my dear sweet time reading it. It's 2FB (who got my number from a friend of a friend, I had her number but she didn't know it which was funny because she thought I would assume she was a friend of ours...), and she asks me what my friend's cell # is for a "scavenger hunt". Now, I don't know about you guys, but that sounds downright evil to me. We do a scavenger hunt for the seniors and it ends up with people getting arrested for doing stupid shit. So it's something like that. With the history between 2FB and me/my friends, I fuck around with 2FB and tell her she doesn't have a cell phone (she has one that she can't do anything but call with, and she never uses it), but I was too late, my friend must've gotten to her first because 2FB texts back "lies, she gave it to me, thanks haha."

RAGE. I left some messages for my friend asking her why she would give her number to 2FB because 2FB doesn't like her, but no response.

MY PLAN WAS FOILED, DAMNIT.

Well, just make sure your friend isn't physically hurt by her, I guess. She would probably appreciate you for that. It sounds like this 2BF might actually physically hurt your friend.

There are plenty of people with personalities like your friend and this 2BF out there, it is really hard to change their ways without them wanting to change.

Although, if your friend is sweet and blissfully naive, why is everyone else being nasty to her? Something left out here?

They think it's funny how 'dumb' she is. She responds to everything they say - in 7th grade people took her first and last name and combined it into a stupid nickname that they would call her just to annoy her, and EVERY SINGLE TIME they did that (and they still do), she would respond with a "seriously guys, that's totally immature /eye roll" and they would just keep doing it anyways. Every time someone says something nasty I hiss into her ear something along the lines of "don't respond don't respond they do it just because they want you to give them attention" and she does it anyways.

I think I know what they're going to do - they're just going to do stupid shit like prank call her because they think it's funny, when it's just really immature. She'll have no idea who's doing it (even though I already told her "why did you give her your number, they're just going to prank call you or something like that"), and I don't really know how that'll make her feel. I know if people who made fun of me called me to make fun of me, i'd feel like shit.

Did you ever wonder if she actually accepts those things from other people easily because deep down she would rather have their attention than being ignored? Obviously, you know her better than me, but maybe there is another reason why she just lets those things slide.

What is she saying to make her look "dumb" to everyone else? I don't see how your example portray her as "dumb". While there is always people who don't get along with each other, there is usually a bigger problem if everyone else doesn't like a certain person though. It could be the fault of everyone else and it could be her fault.

as soon as it goes physical or otherwise mentally damaging get a teacher or someone to help
if it gets physical and the teachers refuse to help am sure a new station at the school will bring some light
