Ego 1h sword or 2h sword

My character is human and mainly a fighter however I will be working on melee skills to. I decided that i want to get an ego sword however i don't know whether i should get a 1h ego or a 2h ego. Which ego would be better to get and why? I will only be doing free repairs so no expensive weapons.

Simple answer: Bastard sword ego 1h. Cheap to repair, strong later (when you'll actually use it). Generally 2h egoes suck lol

Don't use 2h egos, they are for the most part weaker than their non-ego'ed counterparts.

Here is what I say to that...and while dark is newer and this wont matter for a long time to him, there is a place for 2 hand egos on humans.

1. Maxed Str, Will, Luck skills and 300 ish dex +.
2. Maxed Dragon Fang Ego with double elemental Reforge (lv 2 fire, ice, lightening, pick 2)
3. Bohemian set with support shot bonus and perfectly enchanted for max damage and some crit.
4. Master of support shot title
5. Support Smash Support Smash Support Smash Combo Card
6. R1 Battlefield overture with maximum buff instrument (enchanted for buff as well)
7. Champion Trans
8. Oblivion Avenger or Oblivion Fierce or Max roll Steel Needle Earthquake Access x 2 with max damage reforge.

If he plans on making that character then egoing Dragon fang is just fine. Since his crits should be over 20k perhaps 25k at the end of the combo card.

I haven't done the math on it in a while...if anyone wants to tackle it, but I think non crit smashes range from 7k-11k depending on where in the combo card it hits.

Single elem bastard ego + single elem battle sword is totally doable, though.

No one said its practical. Get me 50 fang manuals and well test :D
