Does weapon durability matter in battle?
I was wondering if weapon durability has any effect in battles. I know that weapons don't break in battle like armor does, so would it be fine to buy a weapon with lower than normal durability?
I don't mind making a few more trips to repair, as long as it doesn't have some hidden effect on your attack damage or something.

To my knowledge, it has no effect on weapons.

If you don't mind a little early rust then, it wouldn't hurt anything else.
Yah rust is uuugleh xD Other than the look of the weapon, it stays the same pretty much.

Tis true.
Which is why a lot of people QQ whenever the dura is below like...90 or so.

Evie(Aryiane) - 70
Fiona(Flytarra) - 70
Vella(Alinana) - 2X
Lann(iTrey) - 5X
Kai(Axodius) - 2X

thanks for the replies! I suppose I could deal with the rusted look. It does look pretty narsty, but at least you can repair it away!
Answered my question nicely, cheers.

It shows ... rust? I never noticed O_O
Well, having a higher durability also allows you to do longer consecutive battles. I'm pretty much fine with any DUR above 75, to be honest.
I'm always constantly repairing as it is.

Dont repair for a while, you'll notice metals dent/rust/scratch, leather fades, and clothes get dirty. The effects increase the longer you don't repair it too.
Its DAT VINTAGE LOOK MAN.

Don't expect to be very popular in spamming parties with a low dura weapon.
