Should I stick with the Fomor Battle Sword or go with something else?

I've been using the fomor battle swords for a while with their damage at 29-40 they are good weapons (in my opinion) however they broke and, now they have proven to be difficult to maintain since they can only be repaired by ducats. I have the handcart and, like 1,400 ducats and, each sword cost around 16k for a full repair.

Ducats are a pain to get or rather they are slow income and, time consuming. So I was thinking of going back with the normal battle swords but, I'm not really sure. I was wondering if anyone had any weapons suggestion for me? I'm currently level 156ish. Thanks.

Fomor Falcatas, but at your level, Fomor Gladius.

Maybe you can try repairing at the ogre? It's 90% success rate but it's a lot cheaper - and blessing your weapon will increase the success rate to 96%. Another low cost fomor option is the Fomor Broadsword.

The problem is more with maintaining the sword not getting them. I was looking for a suggestion that wasn't a fomor weapon ^_^

LOL. The irony. Anyways upgraded Gladius usually helps. And a few missing max damage isn't much to worry about in my opinion.

Ducats aren't really hard to get if you devote your time to it you can get a horse wagon and you will get 3 times the amount of ducats you usually got with a handcart so just push for the wagon.

I will eventually go back to using my fomor battle swords but, the thing is I need at least a good weapon to replace them for the time being. I do basically no damage with the clyamore. I'm not sure why though. Normally I can 1 or 2 hit bandits but, with the claymore I do like no damage.

I don't plan to give up on them I really need a replacement that I can rely on for a while.
