At the moment, it has several huge bugs(Which is okay, this is a huge mod), but I won't play survival with this mod until they fix the bug that causes crashing when you use a furnace.

I can't even enter the nether after the update that raised the build height, the lava makes me lag to death or crash. I think it's all the sound scripts.

1.3.1 specifically had a change that reduced Nether lag. Try now.
