Alpaca shearable by non owners

Overheard some people talking yesterday and tested it for myself.

You can shear someone else's alpaca if they log in as the alpaca. As far as I know this hasn't been posted here before. The shears Per day before lucky, partner, and double gathers is still 200.

I was able to right click on myself and click allow others to gather

So you're not seeing this when you log in as your alpaca and right clicking on yourself? This worked with both me and my guild leader who used her alpaca.

Actually, believe it or not, you can right-click yourself as the Alpaca without Mods.

I can actually let my friends who didn't get this pet shear mine.
What a roundabout way of doing things though...

At least they'll be able to take advantage of Partner double gather. (Er, if they have a partner...)
