Alby Advanced for One
Okay, so i was looking around this dungeon on the Wiki, and it states that some of the spider soldiers have 50% protection. Aswell as some dont have a listed HP. So i was wondering, how do you pull off this dungeon? The boss is easy, use Broniac once. But the dungeon looks difficult. I always thought this gundeon to be the one dungeon i dont want to enter besides Peaca. Alby Advanced looked hard with an 8 Person group, only 3 of them were pro.
So whats the primary fighting style to pull off this dungeon. Are Golems a good idea for this dungeon? If so, Should i always be using Snow? or Sulfur.
Also, about those keys you can make. How often do you get the larva, and now is the % to make them? Im mostly interested in getting the Dustin Silver Knight Helmet, but i also want to pull off this dungeon without much problems.

the two main types of mob you will be facing are beetle wolves and spider humanoids.
spider humanoids, they r really easy. just double smash then windmill. pet swipe smash windmill repeat.
but the beetle wolves can get annoying. I wm spammed them when i did alby adv1, but i think there could be other way?
I don't think golem would work great on this dungeon. Once your char get aggroed, its really annoying.

Smashmill/Millmill solves everything.
You're screwed if your char is very focused on defense though, because then it'll take you forever to kill anything. It's possible to tank most things, but high damage is an asset in here, especially since some mobs are Ice element (and most people enchant for Ice) and other ones are poison.
All the humanoid mobs are easy (strong Goblins), its the Beetle Wolves (strong BSRs) and Poison Spiders (strong + poisonous Jackals) that pose a problem, but those die pretty fast.

Since only a few monsters there have Heavy stander, you can do pretty well with golems. Even archery, melee, and magic works. (Of course you need to have high damage).
The only problem here is the multiaggro, really. But its easy if you can get into an empty corner and then think about what to do. The only thing I think you should take care of are the poison spiders, since they multiaggro, do a good amount of damage and have the chance to poison you.
The success rate for the keys is fixed at 90-99% I dont remember well

IMO, cornerplay fails in this dungeon.
Only poisonous spiders are multi-aggro, and their hitboxes are large enough that standing in the middle of the room will hit all of them pretty consistently. Not to mention that spiders will usually aggro no matter where you are in the room, it's better to get them all stuck in a Windmill chain than to have them approach you at staggered distances. Wasps are multi-aggro too, but those are OHKO.
As for Spider Humanoids, only the ranged-based ones will double aggro. Windmill in the middle of the room works wonders (especially on orbs) since you can easily just target the one attacking you, and use a pet if a second one aggros.
Beetle Wolves, Grendels, and Larva are all single aggro.

My main fighting strengths are Alchemy and Ranged, but my Magnum reachs only to rank 3, aswell as my smash is only r7, and with ranged, misses are going to happen. My Windmill is rank 1. I was wondering if golem would work good, because Its one of my highest combat alchemy skills, and my golems are strong, they are only R4, but theyre capeable atm.
I thank you all for giving time to this topic, id please like a bit more chatter here because i want to see what you guys have to input 8D Thanks.

The monsters in Alby Advanced mostly lack passive defense. The beetle wolves and the spider archers get really annoying though. Advanced magic will work effectively alongside windmill spam. Crash Shot will slaughter most dungeon play if you have the stats to back it, otherwise range can't handle the multiagro in Alby Advanced. The real challenge is Alby Advanced Hardmode. Those mobs have like 70% protection and 5k+ hp. Good luck dealing with that kind of defense.
Don't forget Longa Mysterious. That's a hell of a challenge.
Edit(1): Barrier Spikes + Golem Windmill should work.

Try barrier spike + golem?
Normally, people just WM/Smash thru the dungeon.

Beetle Wolves will always aggro if you hit them, even with WM.
...and for the record my defense does perfectly fine in Alby Adv. |3

They'll only multi-aggro if you hit them while they're defending. Otherwise Windmill spam will work just like anywhere else.
Plus I didn't say defense doesn't work. However the 50% protection on mobs can be annoying when you don't have the damage to kill them in 2 windmill crits like somebody with high damage orientation can.

Even still, a ton of the rooms are mixed. So you're still going to get a lot of multi aggro.

Alby Advanced 1 has a lot less mixed rooms than others. At worst, it'll be 2 Poison Spiders + 2 Beetle Wolves/Humanoids or something.
I already covered how standing in the middle of the room and exploiting large hitboxes takes care of the spiders. Then you're just left with a normal 2 mob fight.

You'll mostly encounter Spider Humanoids and Beetle Wolves. The Spider Humanoids are really no problem, because they have Goblin AI. If an archer double-aggro, send a pet out to distract it.
The Beetle Wolves are another story. They single-aggro, but they have tough Protection, making them hard to kill within a few hits. They also have vl 1 Heavy Stander and can run fast (like a dog pet). Since they single-aggro, Magic Counter is fine if you want to take it slow and steady.
Multi-aggro Wasps have low HP and Protection; easy to one-shot with Windmill. Grendels are like Beetle Wolves, but with Bear AI. Poisonous Black Spiders are a threat because of their far and fast multi-aggro with poison attacks. They have large hitboxes, so use Windmill to your advantage in the center.
Cobweb Mummies rarely spawn, but if they are, they're also a threat. They double-aggro and spawn in a group. They have lvl 1 of every Passive Defenses and can use magic and Windmill (since they have Ghost AI).
Biggest threat in this dungeon might be Poisonous Spiders, Cobweb Mummies, and mixed spawns.

xP this would have been much more useful than wm spam.

Get a wing bow upgrade it, and crit mag the #$%^%$#@ out of stuff!
You can easily gain ~110%-120% with a crit upgrade wing bow and a stiff hat even more depending on enchants.
