I don't wanna die.
I wanna explore every inch of this planet and meet everyone I can possible meet, and make friends through the generations.
I wanna listen to the music of 2300 and compare it to the music now. I wanna be able to live past the day they find a cure for cancer and AIDS. And I wanna see the day where gays all over the world will be seen as equal, even in the Middle East.
I wanna perform every single crazy stunt. Swim with dolphins, jump off a plane, ski down a mountain at 100 mph and break my legs while doing it. It'll hurt as hell, but it's definitely an experience.
I wanna see the sunset a million times next to the person I most love and whisper to his ear how much I love him over and over.
I wanna live forever, but unfortunately I can't.
Life is too short.

I would get weary of life. I would probably not want to get attached to a mortal person either.

It'd suck to be the only immortal in a world full of mortals.
It's be painful.

5 Reasons Immortality Would be Worse than Death
See I've always wanted an extended life rather, thinking somewhere around 500 years if humanity hasn't ended by then. Most of it being spent in youth.
Even 200 years would be fine. Heck, I'll take 150.
I think the 80 year expectancy isn't enough.

Haha, yeah! It's a bad idea all-together.
But I'm just a dreamer. :)

Some of the "science" in that article is questionable, but the reasons are funny.

Rather than immortality, I'd rather gain the ability to reincarnate or possess.

That'd also be very interesting!
Do you still remember your past lives' memories or not?

Rebirthing sounds better, wiping your mental degradation with a clean slate.
I honestly would just like to live for a very long time (1000 years is as far as I will go though). Or, have immortality/rebirthing, but having the choice of when to end your immortality.

having the choice of when to end your immortality.
That's the make or break for me. If I had the choice of when to quit then I would choose to live for as long as I wished.

There is the fear of death that never fades.
But then again, choosing to end it wouldn't be terribly difficult once everyone else dies.

Death seems like a part of life to me, and to experience everything life had to offer, I'd have to die. So one day in the far future, after I experience as much as I can, I will expect death to come at me guns-a-blazin'.

timelord lifespans seem pretty sweet.......13 lives, 13 chances to start over...New face, new brain, new feelings, but remembering all the old.....
So regeneration is greater then immortality.

I just read the Epic of Gilgamesh.
This seemed fitting.
