Eh i gain motivation to do things by going on hiatus then coming back strong as ever. Kind of like right now after taking a 2 motnh hiatus from my new main i'm back and doing higher week rbths than before and ranking things quickly and with a focus (for the most part). I tend to have more money when i'm focus than when I'm not as i'm more likely to spend it on useless junk if i'm not focused.
Kind of like right now I have roughly 5m? Before when i was everywhere I had 100k maybe if i was lucky.

i would be upset if my bank dipped below 20m and angry if my bank dipped below 10m.
Only if something i really really want is for sale will i buy things.

I don't really get what having too much money has to do with training skills (in fact, I think it's even better cause you can blow all that gold on materials for the skill), but anyways...
Usually I get pretty unhappy if I fall below 1 mil and I've never had over 6 mil in cash cause I play fashionogi so I either spend millions on buying [s]and failling[/s] dyes or buying that pretty maid dress being sold in the shop around the corner...:awesome: Otherwise, I've never had problems focusing on one skill though. If I want that skill, it's more like "ffff can't wait till next rebirth for AP to train that skill!" (even if it's a life skill, I'm somehow always running out of AP).

don't get too excited. all of that is getting used buying leathers for tailoring and smithing when that time comes.

I find that I do more SM's when I have no money so I can get more money.
It does't feel right when I have below 2m in my bank and I general don't go wasting it on things that I don't need.
"If you have the money, use it" but at the same time "Don't spend more then you earn"
Now I do need money since I wanna start enchanting all my stuff so I'm stronger which = faster SMs = faster exp + faster money gain.

It's amazing what afking on your farm can do for your wallet. :V
Well, there are better ways to get money, but not if you're afking and not selling anything. :P
Metallurgy is nice too. :p
Especially with r1 Metal Conversion and Refining.
But a time when i had a fresh start...
I had... hm...
Oh right, I had gone completely overboard and lost my mind and spent all my money on my previous ego.
At that point, I had to buckle down and REALLY pinch pennies. (And hope they don't pinch back :V)
Now I just raise my ego from crud I get for free, like fishing (lolevent) and metallurgy/conversion (homg delicious jewelry)

I have 2 mil and it hasn't budged in a few months.
The problem is my source of income is from Shadow Mission rewards and gold drops, and my spending is on 98% repairs and small stuff.

I almost always have under 1 mil.
I've never gone above 2 mil.
Reasons why:
A. Never cared about making money.
B. Lag too much to ever make money.
C. Can't even play on weekdays to farm.
As for when I needed a fresh start...uhh, there was one time I only had 50k in the bank,
slowly made it back by farming and farming. But that was in the summer, when I could farm.

I carry 2 50k gold bags in my inventory and hoard all the fomor scrolls I get (I keep it in my pet inventories) and when I cash in the scrolls and my bags get full I just hit the bank and dump everything then repeat the process. I never ever touch my bank money unless I need something cause I already bought all the clothes and stuff I want and I don't do life-skills ever.
I'm only ever paying for repairs, feathers, and some pots.

I usually never use money in my bank, but I've got about 1.8mil right now(it's not a lot :L) since I don't go overboard for enchanting and I haven't had the urge to start Refine again.

I've probably only went over teh 1mil mark only two times...(fail noob)
I seriously have hit the 0 gold mark multiple times, I usually got outta it through massive farming for EXP, training,... and most of the gold I spend goes to feeding Blacksmithing it's Iron ingots.
