  The 'mysterious school comedy' centers on the unusual members of a high school literary club. Touko Amano, a high school senior who calls herself the 'literary girl' as the club president, is actually a supernatural creature (youkai) that devours stories ? she tears pages from books to munch on them. Her club subordinate is Konoha Inoue, a second-year high school boy who writes stories every day for Amano to eat. He once wrote an award-winning novel, but he wrote it under the penname Miu Inoue so readers thought the author was a mysterious 14-year-old bishoujo novelist. The stress from the novel's fame and its movie and television drama plans turned Inoue in an introverted recluse.

At his new school, he meets several new girls, though three of whom he gets to know the most out of anyone else. They are, the firm and obstinate Hayami Kohinata, the kind and obliging Hinata Kagura, and the cheerful and mysterious Otoha.   Hikada Sana returns to his hometown after 5 years away living in Tokyo. Although there are some changes to the town, most has remained the same. On a detour to his apartments, he notices a girl in a shrine maiden outfit watching him when he visits the shrine. He finds out, the next day at school, that this girl is actually Yatsushiro Nanaka , his old childhood friend whom he gave a bracelet to before he left, that she still wears, even to this day.

  Yorito Morimiya loves taking pictures of the sky so much that one day, he wakes up at 4 am to take pictures of the sunrise overlooking the bay. Yorito helps her with forcing the machine but when the machine finally vends, the girl has mysteriouslly vanished.

  Recommending this despite you're not looking for fantasy/sci-fi simply because the animation is very different, in a good way.

  In the future, personal computers have developed into "Persocoms", mobile computers that look like human beings. Hideki Motosuwa, a prep school student, desperately wants to buy a Persocon but cannot afford to. One day he finds a Persocom that has been thrown away and decides to keep it. When he turns on the Persocom, all she can say is "Chi" so he decides to name her that. After a while it starts to become apparent that Chi is more than an average Persocom. Having much better performance, it seems that Chi might be a "Chobit", a type of advanced Persocom rumored to have independent thought.

  
  
  Shion no Ou
  

  Shion no Ou follows the story of Yasuoka Shion, a 13 year old Shougi player with a past of tragedy. Shion's parents were brutally murdered in front of her when she was 5 years old. The murderer sat down with her and challenged her to a game of Shougi, after telling her that if she wanted to stay alive she should forget how to speak, and forget what happened that night.

  
  Watch it for the drama. Has some slice of life, but not enough to be important. Watch it if you like shogi as well.

  Saku Ooyagi returns to his hometown after seven years and is soon reacquainted with his childhood friend, Mihoshi Akeno. The reunion is far from merry since the last memory they have of each other is of her falling off a tree and him saving her. In any case, Mihoshi is determined to improve their relationship and forces Saku to join the astronomy club she founded.

Based on the amateur mystery game by 7th Expansion, the story is told in a series of different scenarios.

  
  Despite what everyone thinks, it's a psychological thriller, not a horror. Also, the majority of the first episode o the series would make you think it's a slice of life.

As Kenji attempts to keep up with Natsuki's act around her family, he receives a strange math problem on his cell phone which, being a math genius, he can't resist solving.   The animation was done by P.A. Works. Character design and story were done by Key, like Kanon, Air, Clannad, little Busters, and etc etc were.

  ah thought u wer only looking for titles ^^. Ayasaki Hayate is only 16 years old when he's abandoned, leaving him to fend for himself against the yakuza, who are after his organs to settle his parents' massive gambling debt. Looking for a way to somehow acquire 157 million yen before he is cut up by gangsters, he stumbles upon a rich girl whom he can kidnap and ransom. The only problem: he's a terrible criminal, and ends up saving her life from other would-be kidnappers and apparently confesses his love for her. In order to work off his debt, the girl, Nagi (who is convinced that Hayate is in love with her), and her maid Maria (who knows otherwise), allow him to work as a butler at their mansion. Hayate's tenure as a butler is not easy, however, and is filled with talking tigers, homicidal robots, jealous relatives, and overarchingly, hilarity.

  I didn't really like Hayate no Gotoku (it was fine the first few episodes, then dragged). Hardly any plot, just random random random. So, I don't recommend it if you want plot.

After a few incidents, their relationship gets intimate, even while Takayuki and Mitsuki begin to realize their feelings for each other. But suddenly, when tragedy strikes, things are never the same for these four friends again.

  Seitokai no Ichizon
  A TV anime adaptation of Sugizaki Ken's light novel series of the same name, the adaptation was announced on the cover note of the fourth volume. The members of the student council of Hekiyou Gakuen are chosen by a popularity vote. As a result, all the members are cute girls except for Sugizaki Ken, who studied hard to enter the council. This novel is about the endless chattering of the members with full of parodies of "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya", "Dragon Ball" etc.

  Takatoshi is a new student in a recently gender-integrated high school, and is asked to join the student council as the vice president. Thus begins his days as the only normal boy among 3 female student council officers.
