Annndddd I am once again considering slaughtering another innocent ego.
Right now, I really don't use my Gladius ego for too much (It's nub since it's low level, only SOC13).
I'm thinking of egoing a Dustin Silver Knight Sword from this event.
Should I just annihilate this ego, and get the DSKS?
Oh, also, should I get way higher dex before I get it? Since the min on it sucks,
and my Dex is only 87. Sad, I know.

Depends on how much you're gonna use it. Respectfully DSKS is one of the best 2handed ego's to ego since it does have better crit then 2handed swords and pretty much the only difference is the balance.
To make this decision, you have to list out what you use more. Dual Wielding is better for WM and 2 Handed Swords are better for Smash with each of them being worse when doing that other move. Also think ahead, are you going into range, magic, alchemy and whatnot. If you decide range then egoing a bow is a better choice, for magic either a wand or sword and for alchemy, a sword.
Without knowing what you want to go into thats all the help with atm.

Well the DSKS you need to repair with NX pots, the gladius at least you can repair with other gladius for awhile. So they're almost fundamentally different. An exact equivalent would be the 2h ego.\
Also with egos you don't start using them until at least STR 25.

You don't have to use repair pots on DSKS. You can always make them. Of course, a smart person would just buy out all the cheap ones going on right now in the event. It will last you a very long time if you have tons of them.
Eventually, all egos will require you to use nx pots to save durability from being lost.

You cant make repair pots, you can make the swords, but that takes more money than nx to repair it.
It depends if your Gladius is specially colored too compared to the DSKS. There are certian weapons that would seem
(to some atleast) that took alot to spend time into, like a Specially colored one thats orange or somthing. You just need to
train it for it to become useful.
A Spirit Weapon defines you, If you want a huge elegant hulking sword, the DSKS is for you, if you want another sword that wastes less space, and is great for WM and dual weilding, Gladius ego is for you.

Hmmm...
Well, I certainly abuse Smash more than WM.
I'm probably never going into range, I just don't really like it too much.
I am branching into magic, but I'm more melee oriented for now, so no wands.
As for NX repair pots, I can just spam surveys. :l
And my ego Gladius actually isn't special colored, lol. I really just didn't care about the color.
Until I saw a PURTY blue Gladius, but it was priced at 700k at the shop I went to,
which is...100k less than my current total amount of money! Yay.
But if I had the money, I'd kill my current sword for that one. :>

While the Gladius is the best weapon at all/40, the Muramasa and the Bastard Sword are the best weapons at all/50.
Dustin pro: 600% smash multiplier, lengthier stun duration
Dustin con: Weaker base damage, NX repairs, decreased versatility
Bastard pro: Higher base damage, increased versatility, more repair options
Bastard con: Weaker smash multiplier, shorter stun duration

I've never considered the Muramasa and Bastard Sword as a good ego option, I'll check those out.
