Even with all of the DLL mostly gone, I think people have forgotten the original SoG.
What do you use for your personal "SoG," and do you think it is still a viable shot?

I think that the original SoG was a Animation to Coding glitch. They must've patched it up now. but it was fun to SoG stuff (only did it once xD)

Long Leather Bow, but I don't attempt SoG since it is very risky.

I still use it sometimes.
Gotten pretty good at it.

I only SoG with my magnum and LLB if it's a starter move or I don't have time to aim.

It's pure luck and cognitive bias, doesn't actually exist.

Assuming it exists, it's not reliable enough to be worthwhile. You really should have time to just aim and the infinite range applications are...rare?

I don't use SoG as a practical purpose. When I'm proffing a bow, then you'll see me attempting SoG... the whole process.

For me, SoG is when I shoot at 99% and don't miss!
It's a rare intervention indeed

many SoG's, in my opinion, are useless in a real fight...unless at close range o-o so just get ready, AIM, and fire! :D

I'm an atheist archer -- I don't believe in a shot of god. :D
Completely off topic, but rdsdeathshot, your deranged Pikachu face always makes my day :D

I don't SoG because it's risky, and as an elf, I use up enough arrows already >.<

I have done SoG at a far range in filia once.. and like 2 or 3 times in full out pvp happened on chance of course lol its funny to watch u get the skill training for a hit of magnum and 3 seconds later it hits the thing lol

It's about damn time someone put the argument to rest like this. Regardless of whether of not SoG is actually real (and I'm a skeptic myself), the practical application of infinite range is so little as to be negligible. As for being able to shoot faster, isn't that what Arrow Revolver is for? And elves, while they don't have Arrow Revolver, can run while they aim -- a few misses doesn't spell disaster like it would for a human ranger.

Are you suggesting that archers should settle for second best?
So many people claim to be able to consistently sog, which would put them miles away from other archers. No other archer tactic compares to a 100% magnum every 2 seconds from across the room.
I routinely find myself aiming at something out of my range.
AR dmg sucks and has annoying timing that further cripples its dps and any assisting partymate.
Misses cripple dps, make you unreliable and will make you hesitant to engage in medium range fighting.
Sog would be gamechanging if it actually existed in some recognizable form beneath all the rumor.
