I do not think we are allowed to talk about mods in detail in this site.

Well, i actually should have a little sympathy for people who break their client with mods because it would be kinda hypocritical of me to negatively criticize people since I had problem with the elf/human animation files switching and addressed my issue to the wiki editors (who wouldn't know much about my problem) LOL and was embarrassed that they had to make a video to just disprove a simple thing (that elves do not slow down with kite shield normally, and that it does if you switch it with human walking animation), but it merely altered game play a little and was pretty hard to spot. Perhaps the people who don't know really don't know and don't know that they don't know.

If someone doesn't know, don't act all mighty and big because you do know.
By all means, teach them.
Kindness makes the world go 'round. :)
Speaking in general, of course.

It's a matter of player choice.
People who don't know how to use mods and are happy with the decision are ok. There are ways other than modding. (e.g. reference to external annotated maps)
People who don't know how to use mods and are not happy should seriously consider learning or finding out.
It's very irritating for people to expect spoonfeeding for optional items, like modifying game files to make clothes look like something else. The most I can do is to send the mod pack, some reading material and that's it.

As much as I'd like custom modified maps, my iTouch with a saved map of artifacts on Cor still works just as fine for easy Exploration leveling. Although, a CP viewer and zoom mod would be nice. D: People are just too lazy these days.

I never update my hackshield. I just update my mods.
But yeah, I don't find it annoying. I just think you should know what you're doing, unless you wanna reinstall the client every time. :(
Hackshield updates automatically.

I don't really mind [s]but only because I sometimes get mod errors and dunno what to do[/s]
I usually just try to solve the problem myself though.

When someone complains, or ask questions about mods I always answer "READ THE #$%^ README.TXT!!!"

I took the time to learn how the package files work, I don't see why people can't do the same.
It's like asking questions easily answered by google.
All the information is out there for you.
