Me and a friend have cumulatively balloon'd over 20 times, with no Ring Bow rewards. Our star counts are right.. Is it just our bad luck, or are they really this rare?

From what I heard the bow is rare

Assuming this has not been changed since around G10 :X
You can always get any reward you want as long as you have the right stars and patience.
To confirm again you should have 41~45 stars, meaning around 8 to 9 big ones.
Wyvern Claw x4
Ring Bow x1
Mana Herb x10
MP 50 Potion x10
Finest Handmade Ballista Bolts x30
Wood Board x1
You'll always get the bolded item but the other items will come at random.
If you talk to your ego it will reset the prize menu, so you can just keep talking to your ego until you find your reward.
It may take a while (I've spent up to 10 mins refreshing for an enchant) to get what you want.

^If your fast with doing that you can get even the rarest things in ballooning OR rafting within 3 minutes, but if you spazz and skip past the reward it takes longer than 10 :v

Yeah, the ego glitch is how people are accumulating so much Ring Bows, Irinid set, enchants, herbs, Iron Ingots, Tipping Suits, etc.
Still costs some MP potions for efficiency.

Hah, I remember when I used to do um, just quitting party to refresh it, or summon a horse, summon horse with party. Stuff like that, then someone thought of doing with ego, luls.
Glad that worked out great though, lol.

The ego thing worked out well.

This is somewhat off topic but you can abuse that glitch to receive a lot of tipping suits. If it boosts a stat you care about (str, luck, will) then it makes tipping suits the most efficient feeding method since you can get two a raft, they're free and they're worth like 230k each.

Ah, thanks for the Tip(ping suit) Kae, I'll take advantage of that once I start rafting with Crash Shot. Bastard swords too.(good strength for my ego)

You should go for the suit, sell it, buy Bastard swords.
The Bastard sword is Stiff enchanted (so it can be worth ~20k?) so it's not meant for ego food.

1)I have a Ring Bow. There's no way in hell I can get by only raising strength. lol
2)I will however, sell the suits for money as well.
3)I'd rather buy gems ahaha!
4)Stiff bastard swords hardly sell, sadly. I've tried selling them before, meh~
