  So anyone here from Alexina? Got a cool idea. Why not form a guild based on all the thoughts people have here? so a guild dedicated to doing all these things that you want to do, since the rest of the community wont; why not make a your own, all-exclusive guild where everyone in the guild likes doing all these things like campfires, dungeon runs and etc..... any ideas? :tea:

  If you don't want people to start a fight, then why continue to let the fight continue by egging the person on? Especially when the person you're arguing with is the one that you're using as an excuse as to why you shouldn't be fighting in the first place. You may say that us mods are being butthurt because you don't want to listen to us, because since you've been here, you've been causing nothing but problems with your emote spam, bright eye hurting colors being joined with walls of texts, and I quote:

  It may be unnecessary for me to comment, but I read all of your comments and everything Arsik said its true. I think its pretty funny you wanna be a troll then call it "BS" when Arsik puts you in your place.

  I made that post not to put anyone in that place, but for everyone to be aware that A) That Dragonite is trolling, so everyone should ignore him and B) for everyone to not fight anymore and cause anymore drama and get this thread back on topic. Any further off topic discussion

  Yes Ma'am. So where were we. Hmm, so let's try to make this thread more positive. Yes, the community isn't great, but you have to say that compared to it games. It is still fairly good.

  The community is as good/bad as you make it. It's certainly better than most MMOs. DevCat needs to permanently release some events. Minigames added a lot of replay value to Runescape (castle wars, fight pits, etc)
  
  In Runescape you played minigames with friends when you weren't grinding. In Mabinogi you sit around and cause drama wars because there's nothing else to do.
  
  It's easier to hang out with friends if your actually doing something.

  Hmm, I would like if they kept the dragon event permenently, but I think we need dungeon events. o3o like when peaca intermediate comes out. The 5 fastest parties for they day get a prize.

  Anyhow. Sorry for long ass post. I didn't originally intend on it being this bloody massive.
  
  
  I miss the old days as mentioned by several long-time players. I miss the feeling of progression even when your not going very fast. I miss when being in a guild meant everyone is on the same page just trying to get by. I miss when having a million had as much weight as having a million IRL. I miss several things that wont ever return, and thats why this game means so much to me now. It's grown along side of me.
  
  Through the 3 years i have played and changed characters and tried new things on here the first 2 years of it wasn't serious. i didn't care about my total, i didn't care about having R1 skills. All i cared about was playing with my friends and randomly running dungeons when they came out, and other such fun. These days were highlighted by a guild that meant as much to me as the game itself.
  
  Like all good things and like life in general things pass on and you try new things.
  
  I've been coasting in and out of guilds owned by me, owned by friends, it didn't matter because nothing could touch the void after Pandora went downhill. I've changed main and been trying to find a place for myself, trying to fill a void since i had no true main when Pandora crashed and I just changed accounts in attempt of renewal. Well it worked for about a year and not very long ago i changed mains yet again due to my stubborn nature.
  
  My nostalgia is mixed not only with "the good days" but with a dread of not having kept to 1 character. So now restarting I have a bank packed with money pets and alts packed with items i really don't need, and a total 200 main that has an end-game ego already started. I look at this game and I see that i don't have a place either which has lead me to near quitting several times since i retired Hatecraze for the second time.
  
  Here's what i feel makes the experience better for newer players or older players that are in the same rut as me.
  
  1. Make your own goals that make you feel excited. ranking skills for me is rather joyous, and I'm one of VERY few who ENJOY windmill training just for the satisfaction of training to be better. For a more relaxed player it could just be to obtain a certain hat or weapon or maybe hit rank 9 on a skill. Don't stress yourself over it but be patient and the fruits of your effort will feel more like it used to.
  
  2. Find a guild. This one is probably the most important. Have you seen the amount of guilds on the servers? It's massive! There is no way you can tell me there isn't a guild out there for you, you just need to go looking for it and put a bit of effort into it. it will be rough but talking to people about skills or starting a conversation as lame as "hey i like your robe" can take you place. Don't worry i'm shy too and this is a hurdle I'm still facing, but don't worry eventually you will and you may just make a friend for life much like i did.
  
  Wanna know how I first joined Pandora? Encore complimented my armor. Seriously. Thats how our friendship started, so I am not kidding when i say a simple compliment can take you places. Just keep in your head that this is a GAME no one knows what you look like or who you are unless you want them to, my old guild leader is a prime example of this. So let loose and explore the different social groups that are available, even f it takes time it will be worth it. I'm still kicking myself over some guild invites i declined.
  
  
  3. Events are your best friend. get involved with them. This is something espeshially for Tarlach players. I gotta laugh at so many players that down tarlach but if you take a trip to CH3 you'll find that every monday there is a herb pig event in dunbarton square where people are picking players on their herb pets while others are playing magic music for mp and sp increase. Or there is the Tarlach Fair a huge success of a server event ran by Spooklee that is completely player ran and the whole community pitches in to help with. It's little things like this that make me a proud Tarlach member.
  
  but you see it's not just those mentioned events or the Nexon events. Some guilds, I know both Deviants and Visions of tarlach do guild events. So bring these kinds of ideas up to guildmates, friends, or even random people. Se where it takes you maybe it'll even become something the server enjoys.
  
  
  
  There are several factors to everyone's individual fantasy life. Hell i've been working on a video project using my alt guild that I will eventually want a ton of helpers for. I know some guilds and individuals on tarlach do videos and have random people help out. heck i helped Roroan in a video last year and we usually chat a bit when we see each other now.
  
  The reason why many players that are newer feel the burn is not unlike going to a new school or town. This game has grown to be very large and sadly this means more effort has to be made to find social groups. the veterans have theirs already but who knows maybe you can join there's. Not everyone is a dick now adays just many have retired, and the old community already split up a year or two ago. Don't try and feel pro by befriending vets, find new players r players that share your interests and grown WITH them because that's the experience your missing, the growth with people. Not pros helping you out but you and friends banding together to take down an enemy all with similar experiences. The economy may be inflated but that doesn't mean you have to rush for the best new items, just learn to progress with other new players and you'd be surprised at just much much of the old ways are still here.

  That sounds like a nice idea ^_^ I would like to join guild like that. Btw yer from guild nagareboshi? Do you know someone called "coreycake"? I think he's from that guild.
