Aurolis because I liked the Northern Lights, named the Auroral Borealis, and anything that came from the Arctic. I took the 2 words, and mashed their prefix and suffix together to create Aurolis.

I used to smile as a lot as a kid, and my name is Jason.
Joy Jason
these two words compose my name =P
but there's a lot of confusion when people meet me xD
Since my character looks like a girl (?!), people just assume that i'm a girl even with my name XD

baie is the french word for berry, technically, but i don't pronounce it properly.
plus, i really like the way it looks.
lanka, my elf, is the name of an angel from angelic layer.
my giant is pommeko... pomme is french for apple, but i doubt that's what i was thinking of.
permanently, explicitly and implicitly are all alts, being a human, giant and elf, respectively.
i don't know why i chose permanently, but giants seem explicit and elves implicit... right?
meowvelous, my old forum name, is a joke from azumanga daioh.

I chose my name because I thought that the eyes I chose on my character made him look Blind.

My user was to match my city for the Earthquake in 1989. I consider SF to be full of mini earthquakes so I decided on it.

[FONT="Arial"]I named my main human as Tokichu because toki í† ë¼ means bunny in korean and I just added ~chu at the end as a spin off of Pikachu. The name sounds masculine to some people(?) so unless I meet them or tell them, they think I'm a guy. x.x;

Arus wrote on 2010-04-23 06:40
Arus is the name of one of the four heroes of an old MMO I used to play. Arendel is just something I thought sounded like an elf's name. The name of my giant mule, Arngeir, means "eagle spear" in Norse, which I thought was an appropriate name origin for giants. Vengrid is my other giant, and it was just a random idea I liked because it can sound masculine or feminine, so there's more freedom to rebirth between genders.

I chose my name because my best friend [now boyfriend] had chosen Blind and I thought it would be clever to choose Deaf :D
