Last year's event was so great and had so many participants, we're doing it again!

On Sunday, October 24th, starting at 6pm PST, we will be hosting a costume contest open to all Ruairians. We had some great prizes last year, and this year will not disappoint.

Contestants will be judged and awarded prizes in the following categories:

* Funniest Costume
* Scariest Costume
* Sexiest Costume
* Best Group Costume
* Best Overall

Our judging panel will consist of 5 people: Ochi, Saranghe, Saerah, Trigger, and Aradia. The location and further details on how the event will be organized will be announced at a time closer to the event date.

Any earlier time would be when the PST people would be eating.

The time and date is what works best for us who are putting the event on. We did it last year at 6pm on a Sunday and there were easily over 100 people participating. Sorry if you cannot make it :( But, it shouldn't last more than 1-2 hours.

These aren't costumes. These are just regular clothes.

Unless the theme was to dress like an adventurer.

It would be MUCH easier if you rescheduled for a Saturday

At the contest people have a minute to describe their costume. For example, above: Kingdom Hearts group, Megaman, Trinity from the Matrix, etc.

And again, Randomcheese, I'm sorry, but I'm the one heading this and Saturdays are out of the question for me. I'll be happy with whoever can show up on Sunday.

Couch Cough, I have ESt time too, but i'm not on ruari.. Anyway we have a furlow day for the monday and tuesday o3o the teachers aren't getting paid but we get days off. Go Georgia's Crappy Economy =D

Tomorrow, Sunday the 24th, at 6pm PST we start judging for the halloween costume contest!

Everyone* is welcome to participate, and we will be judging in the following categories:

* Funniest Costume
* Scariest Costume
* Sexiest Costume
* Best Group Costume
* Best Overall

However, we may make exceptions and the categories have some degree of flexibility. We have some great prizes for the winners, and honorable mentions might even get some prizes too Wink

The event will start promptly at 6pm PST in the Emain Macha Auditorium on Channel 3. If you show up late we may not be able to accommodate you. Try to get there a bit early so we can explain the rules further.

Upon being called to the stage, you will have a moment to strut your stuff and explain your costume if you so desire. Be as creative as you wish Cool See you there!
