  Yeah, I read the first 3 books and really liked them, but as soon as I saw the trailer for the Twilight, the books were ruined for me. :(

  The writing is almost all talking or Bella thinking to herself, e.g.
  He had said "I want to kill you and eat you."
  I thought to myself, "That's okay."
  ^Repeat through the whole book.
  So yeah, not complex or deep.
  Nothing hidden, need to infer, all plain and simple.
