I guess there's no point in taking the time to train it, then?
That's fine with me, I guess. Its massive inventory was well worth the price. o[]o

Doesn't mean I won't train it or use it in combat despite that. o3o

Still got it. That inv space is lovely. And I'm still going to (try) and train it. All my pets are kinda sad level-wise. </3

I'm not going to get this then.
No point getting close to useless pets when I have plenty of them sitting in pet space. Might as well buy something like thoroughbred.

You know what's ironic?
Most of the time, you never use your pets in real combat. They only play a huge role in support by healing you and patching you up when no one else can. People buy Combat Pets thinking they're good, but end up not using them most of the time. In the end you end up using those pets as a helping hand for new characters or for storage. It kind of ticks me off whenever people judge a pet by it's usefulness in combat alone before they buy it.
Not to mention it's not as if you're going to have the Guardian Spider summoned ALL THE TIME. You can still just summon it for a short while to help you with a couple of combo attacks, then unsummon it and summon a new pet when you're finished using it or it starts making webs. It's obvious that if you have that Guardian Spider, you probably also have a couple of other pets that are supposed to be combat fit.

The fact that it spins webs in battle means that it was never for combat and is more for the aesthetic purpose.
Some people will be bothered by it even if it looks cute. It's the same way how I didn't buy sheep in the end.

But the fact that this pet is an epic inv pet makes it attractive.
who cares about aesthetics or pet combat.
pets are broken down to: mount, inv, pet swipe. (sometimes herbs)

Then dragons come and break everything.

White Jindo and Green Gecko are still the best concerning NX to space ratio for every space costing 86.1 NX.

This is why the Pet system needs a revamp.
Especially that Pet Companion Bonus.

Well you really shouldn't be relying on pets for actual hard combat anyway.
