Screw you for supporting bots =.=
Plus, you fail for buying your way through refining. I barely spent 200k total on mine (rF --> r1)
I did that twice. I think 2 days of Refining and then not wasting any more time near a furnace for the rest of my life is a good thing :D

Not everyone wants to go grind metallurgy for ages and ages and ages. If we have the money, why not? I could use the time spent getting ores doing something more productive. I find that kind of offensive. =/
But time is money. How much time did you spent getting all those fragments/ores?
Honestly, it just shows how lazy you are to just spend a bit of time clicking.
Back when I didn't have to try hard in school, I could spend 3 or 4 hours a day metallurging and putting ores on my pets. With a full scarecrow set that I made myself, (with a little help from a friend in terms of enchant burning), I only took around 1-2 months to rank rF to r1 with very little money spent. Most of the money went to repairing, furnace use, and mythril passes.
Personally, I can watch an anime or read a VN while i'm metallurging, and it's not like you need a s***load of ores in the first place. I honestly wish that these people can try weaving or handicraft. Those who want to buy their way through will find themselves bankrupt as they train these skills.
If you want to buy ores, then go ahead. But just know that you're contributing to the destruction of Mabinogi Economy if you do buy ores that bots made.
What do bots do with the gold? Of course, they sell them to actual players for real money.
But, if there's no one who's willing to buy the farmed gold, there's a massive recession.
In fact, I personally think this is the problem in Tarlach, where all the gold is in the possession of metallurgy-bots that can't sell it for real-life money. With so little ways to actually MAKE money (bring in money into the economy, not like selling to other players. Example is farming), there are more people trying to sell items than to buy them. (yeah Tarlach players, you know what I'm talking about)
Conclusion:
If you consider yourself "not-lazy", then just do metallurgy. Plus, you can get gems while metallurging, which there are various uses for.
If you want to buy ores, buy them from actual players so that other players don't need to suffer economic recession.
No time to do metallurgy? Then why the hell are you spending your time on Mabinogi in the first place??

Some people like to you know, HAVE FUN?
No offense, but I dont have 3-4 hours a day to play a game....Thats why my metallurgy rank is still so low, but, I do buy ores, like, if Im in fillia failing something, and then I run out of ores at 95 percent, yeah, Im going to CW to dunby, and buy a ton of cheap ores.
