So I have decided to split from being an alchemical mage...and I can't decide on what to do. I could either be an alchemist or a mage, and both are extremely tempting x_x.
Any suggestions? Rants? Comments?

If you have enough money, then go with mage
If you think you can handle alchemy mastery grind, then go with alchemist.

I see your total isnt very high. Go for alchemy. Unless you gacha spam. You wont have enough money to upkeep the wands and mp pots.

FFFF. I saw this coming from a mile away Mustard. I say Mage then when your finished go back to Alchemy since Alchemy is more support then fighting with it.

MP pots and wand repairs are no biggie. You can easily cover the costs with a little bit of rafting. One raft run can get you 2 Tipping Suits, 10 Iron Ingots, and 30 Mana Herbs. Sell all of that (Tipping Suits to the NPC), and you have enough to buy 3 stacks of MP100's.
The main problem is being able to get Adv. Magic in the first place, especially Thunder (which you need to raft for money/herbs), as well as being able to deal with the high CP that advanced magic gives and the high AP cost of raising magic skills. Thunder isn't too hard to get, though. Ice Spear and Fireball, however, will cost quite a bit more.
Having the patience to befriend a potion maker, or better yet, training your own potion making helps a lot too. You save lots of money by turning the mana herbs you get from rafting into potions, rather than selling the herbs and buying the potions for twice as much.

Well you all have valid arguments, I think I'll just wait a day and see how the results turn out.

Could you list us your skillset?
If you are pretty developed in magic, then i would say that magic isn't a such a bad choice.

Rank E Skills; Thunder, Firebolt, Lightning Bolt, Healing
Rank 9 Skills; Icebolt
Rank 8 Skills; Magic Mastery
Alchemy
Rank F skills;Fragmentation, Life Drain, Mana Crystl., Sand Burst, Rain Casting, Metal Conversion

The power of Alchemy in G13 does not make it "a support skill set", so you'll have to consider that. Also, G13 Magic gets a revamp in power that nerfs power at low Int and buffs power at high Int.
Other than that, feel free to choose whatever. I see the potential in both skill sets to be useful. Magic requires less time and equipment to prepare for combat, but Alchemy is cheaper in some cases and can alter combat conditions.

Benefits of magic
1) High, reliable damage
2) Useful in any situation
3) Very little influence needed from other skills/enchants
4) Safe
Downfalls
1) MP Usage
2) Wand repairs
3) AP cost
4) Reliant on MP potions
---
Benefits of Alchemy:
1) Great support
2) Safe
3) Decent damage
4) Cheap
Downfalls of Alchemy:
1) Training requirements(for AM particularly)
2) Enchants are needed
3) Lack of AoE skills
4) Reliant on crystals
----
There might be more points, but that's a basic run-down of it.
Alchemy covers a broad range of uses, where magic is primarily defensive.(not counting shields)
Alchemy takes much more effort to raise, where magic just requires lots of mp.
You should choose based on what fits your playstyle best.
With magic, I recommend ranking Thunder as well, of course. The damage/mp cost is great, it's easy to get, and it's the ultimate rafting skill.

Well with my current financial situation, my patience, and capabilities, I think I will be an alchemist!

Good choice :D even though im not one lol. YOur magic skills dont seem that well(sorry no offense) so alchemy would be great. Im pretty sure you want to rank alchemy msatery water cannon, and barrier spikes first. Water cannon for your offense AM for damage boost (duh) and barrier for the safety

Yeah and with an alternate character I have that has rank 1 wc and rank b critical hit, I hit 2000 damage average with a crit 5 charge wc at point blank on black dire wolf cubs :D
Anybody with a respectable water cannon can confirm this.
