G12S2 continued... bot elimination, closet, alchemy bag

  in addition to skill updates, there were other new updates that are awesome:
  
  *this has nothing to do with new skills that everyone knows about so this deserves a new thread.*
  
  Bot Elimination Solution:
  due to bot problems in all kinds of mabi servers, devcat has found a solution to end botting.
  
  So the characteristics of most bots are... 1. naked. 2. 0dura eiry. 3. random name
  
  Thus, devcat made it so that ppl with 0 dura weapons (right hand, so when dual wielding, this doesn't apply if only the left hand weapon reaches 0 dura) get significantly less (or none) items and golds.
  This way the bots will kill the mobs, but won't be able to get any fomor scrolls, or golds
  
  Closet:
  This is for housing.
  Requires rank 8 handicraft. It uses 20 Finest firewood (obtained from carpentry), 10 thick threads, and 20 nails

  Alchemy crystal bag:
  this is used to hold alchemy crystals. Key characteristics are...
  1. all obtained crystals will go to the alchemy bag. meaning if u pick up/buy/trade a crystal, it will go to the bag and not the inventory (assuming your bag isn't full)
  2. it takes up 1x4 (4) spaces in inventory
  3. it provides 9x3 (27) spaces for crystals
  4. probably, this will be available to ppl who pay premium services

  Falias Artifact change:
  previously, no one really wanted to do this mission cuz
  1. its pretty hard
  2. only the leader gets the reward
  but now all the party members get a reward

  Eh, if they only can hold alchemy crystals and they can't be put away on pets or in the bank, then it's kinda useless. Spikes are the only alchemy I really use, and even then it's only rarely. Need moar general bags.

  in korean mabi, theres enough room for 2 alchemy bags after spamming the inventory with general bags
  
  but ya, i agree with you in how no one will use these bags except for alchemists

  fyi, daggers have less dura than eiry
  daggers: 8x2=16
  eiry: 20x1=20

  Daggers have more hits and pretty much guarantee that the lame grey fox they're killing doesn't survive the hit.
  But really, since bots are always by weak mobs, they could just use fists and get away with botting.

  Heres an idea. Nerf all gold and item drops for all foxes, raccoons, and mongoose. Seriously, no one ever hunts them for actual stuff anyways, and any stronger mobs usually need more than just a Eiry N attack to defeat.

  Oh man, I'm so used to tetrising my Barrier Spikes and Golems that holding 27 stacks of crystals where I could originally hold 3 is such a relief. I use Barrier Spikes too much playing Offering. It's quite a godsend there.

  Anyone taken a look at the bots in Vales? They have armor and evil dying crowns from Nubes and dual wield wooden swords. There are even giant bots out there with knucks and kirsten armor.
  
  They're also pretty sophisticated and bless their stuff. I kid you not. I've sat in Vales while waiting for my ego to get hungry and watched them. Ever wonder why there's always an empty shop with a bot near it in Vales? The other bots, usually late at night, go to it and drop stacks of hp30's for the main bot to pick up. I've stolen quite a few stacks myself and I've recorded it but haven't uploaded yet. I've also seen them run to Taunes, then to the old furnace, bless their stuff, then run to the empty shop and disappear.
  
  I appreciate that they tried but this isn't going to stop the botting.
  
  Anyway, Alch bags look nice.

  Alchemy bag certainly is nice for them... but NA doesn't even have the normal item bags.
  If NA gets normal item bags I'd reinstall mabi right now =\
