Don't play many video games so I wouldn't mind.

I wouldn't mind, I usually put away video games until I get home, and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't intrude on her interests, be it dramas to hobbies to odd things, etc.

Depends how they handle the fact they they don't like them.
Tries to make me stop playing them? She knows where the door is.
Just doesn't play them, in the same way I won't watch her annoying TV dramas? everything will be OK.
This, except for a guy in my case. It would be really lovely if we could enjoy the same games together, but if he doesn't like games, well...hey, it's hard to find a person in this world who can match in every aspect right?

Like Osay said, depends on how they don't like them.
Do they just not find them interesting, or do they think of them as the root of all evil?

I have to lean towards "playing".
As it tends to count to about 80% of my activities, I would be at a complete loss if she didn't play video games. Seriously, what would we do together?
The other 20% probably includes other geeky activities, and I'm sure a girl who does any of them is bound to be a gamer anyways.
However, not playing video games isn't a completely negative thing either. Theres always stuff to do, but I'm just thinking theres a bit less of a connection. In any case, if they're trying to stop me from gaming, then its a huge minus.

I don't have to worry about this. My husband loves gaming as much as I do. We play games together just about every day (unless one of us is playing a 1 player console game, lol). Our computers are in the same room. :awesome:

I'm jealous.
At the same time, I kind of fear it would mean it would lead to lack of house/financial responsibility though.

As long as it doesn't become an obsession, I'm ok with it. On the other hand, I don't like it when people nag about me playing video games. Of course, I've never had a girl-friend before and my parents are pretty cool about it, so it's not a problem for me, but I know I would get angry if they used that as an excuse for a failing relationship.

I met my current boyfriend in an MMO. 8D;
I won't get jealous over a video game unless he's not paying attention to me. I'll get jealous if he watches bad things. I don't know how far I should go with that so I'll just leave it there.

If I had a girlfriend I'd treat her as someone much more important than myself.
Don't do this, unless you want your relationship to end very quickly.
Treat her like a normal person. Don't put her on a pedestal.
