The range for its use it infinite and can be used virtually on any player. Right click to use and press "Use" then enter the correct name of the player (exact grammatical spelling; including capitals) then press enter once done to revive player. If name is incorrectly spelled, the activation will pause and then a message will pop up telling the user that the name entered "does not exist". Feathers are not wasted or used up if their use is unsuccessful.
