Is there any option for this? A short-cut key? Or maybe a mod? How do I hide IGN's? Making cool wallpapers would be easier if I didn't have to edit names out >_>

I think there is... I accidentally made my interface disappear once. It had some Korean stuff down at the bottom left probably saying to hit esc to cancel it or something.
You can also just open Options and drag it off the window (not exactly good for action shots).

Ctrl+N
In my case that makes disappear chat bubbles and IGN's

more on this would make me a happy camper.
being based off the source engine, I wonder if its possible to record demos (those of you who played valve games should know this) which is a much more efficient way to record, etc etc. And by much more I mean holy crap they should implement this in every game.
I wish I could bring up the developer console.

Just make a rage thread on official forums like "THIS GAME SUCKS SO MUCH YOU CAN'T HIDE THE INTERFACE"-etc. and some jerk will tell you just to prove you wrong and make fun of you.

Doesn't work, but I did find the answer.
Go to Options, -> Controls ->Advance Settings
From there on, scroll down under Interface and you see Hide Display, double click and put in whatever you want, I put in "H" for hide.
Btw Tasha, laptops don't have a keypad.

Ctrl+n is for mabi, I think Omaru was just confused.

Mine does therefore I am superior.
What I would like to get rid of are the stupid campfire/anvil messages. They are always screwing up my boss kill screenshots.

Laptops don't have keypad but if you turn on numlock, you'll notice that some of the keyboard keys will become the keypad. Like for instance, on my laptop the way to turn on numlock is Fn+F11. Once I turn that on, my ; key becomes the numpad - key which i can then use alt+; to turn off the interface. I hope that made sense.

Thanks a whole bunch, although KP_Min (keypad minus) is only needed, instead of both.
It's the default described in the controls.
Kind of annoying how my configurations keep resetting every time i start up.
Now to get rid of those annoying tooltips...
