My computer is like 5 years old with only upgraded RAM so I was wondering if I could play (on the min. graphic settings) Vindi on this dinosaur until I get my laptop back.

I believe your graphics card is equivalent to an nvidia GeForce 7100 GTX, but I'm not positive.
I think you're really close, if you set the game down to lowest settings on everything you might just be able to do it.
Minimum Reqs are:
OS: Windows XP
CPU: Single Core 2.4 GHZ
RAM: 512 MB
HDD: 5 GB
Graphics Card: GeForce 5600

Did you host or join someone else's game? Cause if you joined someone else's then it could have just been them causing the lag. Try hosting if you haven't.

Or solo. That usually makes much less lag.

Was it network lag or graphical lag? If it was network lag you can get the best PC in the world and it won't help you.
I'm playing vindi fine on medium settings with a frankenstein PC build from parts that date anywhere from 2004 to 2010, and it's single core.

It only gets bad when everyone is hacking away close to me. But I changed my settings on the computer so I can run it fine now just the occasional network lag that both KR and NA servers have
