I'm looking for some information or advice related choosing the main weapon for her.
I guess, for lann, there is some difference by choosing weapon.
Is there any difference or skill tree for Fiona by choosing weapon? something like hammer has more chance to stun?
btw, i'm waiting for the server maintenance is over to start the new Fiona, actually i got lvl 27 now but after reading the fiona guide from here, i like to start her from the beginning again. lol
just reason for it is wasting AP on several ranks.

It'd be more efficient to just do Speed AP runs I think...
Anyway, hammer does a lot more damage and has more AOE but it's slower and really hard to block attacks with. There are different skills, of course...
LMB x3 + RMB = Butterfly - swing your hammer around in a circle like the Gnoll Chieftain, you can keep doing it over and over as long as you have stamina. Big stun and KD chance.
LMB x4 + RMB = Stigma Hammer - really powerful attack, it charges into 3 additional power stages and does tremendous damage and kd/stun chance. It's also uninterruptable once you release it.
The animations for hammer look a lot cooler too... aaand... the 1-smash & 2-smash probably have names and skills associated with them too.
Oh and I think all of the hammer stuff has a chance to stun/kd.
Swords attack faster and make it easier to guard, especially getting perfect guards.
Just try both and decide after. You'll probably want both anyways and switch as you see fit. It's not like you won't be able to max both of them doing speed ap runs during open beta.

Hammers damage is quite higher than swords in single blows, but the speed will make it very hard to hit bosses later on that spam AoE skills almost non-stop. You won't be able to hit as much as a sword Fiona, and you'll end up doing less damage.
So:
sword is superior against fast bosses
hammer is superior against slow bosses (or bosses that can be easily stunned)

I cant tell you the major differences since I love sword fiona and have no plans on using hammer any time soon
but I can tell you to do a search on youtube and you can find most higher lvl koreans playing the game use swords. I think I am biased but it turns out more versatile for the reasons Bakuryu stated above.

Hammer Fiona still rocks out all over with SP Slashing High.
Superarmor gives you a free fully charged stimga. YEAHHHH HAX DAMAGE.
But yeah. Its definitely far less defensive. You have to know the enemy's patterns well so you time your attacks or risk getting hurt.

All good advice, one additional point on Butterfly Swing is I've noticed that the first hit does more than repeats.
Guard 9 also allows you to start your attack on the 3rd hit after a perfect guard. This can really help get off a fast Butterfly combo, but you should only use it if you know the enemies' combo is done, otherwise it'll get you hit.
Also on Stigma I've definitely been knocked out of the attack animation, but it's fairly rare, the biggest danger is a common one with 3960 Lanns, which is all the damage you can take due to not getting knocked out of hit range.
In any event, I would recommend that no matter your weapon decision to keep one of each type handy to keep yourself versatile, and keep your skills from rusting.

Butterfly swing is not worth making the 2nd swing on a boss because the damage is reduced, unless you know it will knock him down or the enemy is low on hp.
Overall though, its fantastic for trash mobs that surround you like mad (ie, huge spider spawn). It really does the job. You can delay your extra hits so you can give the enemies a chance to surround you and you don't waste too much stamina.
Stigma Hammer is probably the highest damage attack atm, but its hard to get it off solo without Slashing High. So my best suggestion for this is only use it in parties, or when you have Slashing High. Works fine with guard rank 9 too, though you probably won't get to charge it up (which is still more powerful than amaranth).

Thanks a lot for many advice!
I still don't have the chance to compare both and want to save the ap as much as possible, but thinking as beta i can try whatever I want. lol.
Now i have 28 Fiona, which spent AP not effectively, and starting new one now.
Oh and my 28 Fiona just start to collect mats for Bone Hammer. =D

One Interesting tidbit about Stigma Hammer: Fiona will make two audible sounds for Stigma. one before she starts charging and one when she releases. I noticed that getting hit during the duration of these two sounds result in super armor, and will not cause you to flinch.

Is there any special extras you get at rank 9 butterfly or stigma like guard and blossom blow has. I am going to assume the other skill books for the other hammer skills will be released later and do they have any extras do people know about?

Switching from Sword to Hammer is like switching from Marth to Ike. Although you get super armor, you have to learn an entire different strategy, since your attacks are a lot slower.
I prefer the sword, though I do use the hammer on slow bosses.
