Question on food sharing effects (G12S2 update)

How does the food stat bonuses work for party sharing?

I made some club sandwiches today and the max bonus stat is 35 dex for 100 quality food. We shared the food but we still get the same effect. So what is the real effect of food sharing? Or is this a bug?

Only the recievers get the boost.

The original eater doesn't get the boost.

But the thing was that I was the one who was receiving the food.
