Welcome to another one of my guides :thumb: . In this guide I am going to go over some practical ways of MAKING and ONLY MAKING money. I will not be showing you how to merch because it is extremly risky and has caused many people to quit. And Please remember that there is no secret to making cash, there is just working hard and saving which none of us like to do, but it is practical and it is the only fool proof and fail safe way of making some cash. Now that I have cleared the air, lets begin

The information in the following guide does not go into methods, that is for you to figure out. I am only showing you the facts for you to make up your own method. But some people posting may have some methods you would like to try, so check out others posts.

Holy Water
This is a common way of making money because of its high demands. Lets check the pros and cons.
Pros:
1. You can sell holy water as quickly as you can get it, which makes for a steady income.
2. You can sell holy water for a decent amount of cash. About 15k a stack atm.
3. There is no repair costs because you don't have to do combat to get it, which brings me to the point that it doesn't take any combat experience and is a good income for new and experienced players alike.
Cons:
1. You can only gather 8 holy waters a day(for more information please refere to notes), unless you do it 50 times.
2. It is tempting to use them for your own equipment :P, but remember the bottom line is to make money :D
Notes:
I have been informed that by gathering your items ahead of time then waiting in Dunbarton(make sure you still have your cont warp) start and finish the part-time job their with the church then cont warp and do it in Qilla Base camp. This requires you to have a human acc and to be prepared.
A good map to check out for finding were apples are in Dunbarton is the following:

To get more details on this method check this URL out:

For those of you who are using this method check out this thread to sell(They will probly only be looking for HW for a limited time):
Sell your Holy Water Here
Also if your not on Ruairi then the price of Holy Water may be different, but the concept is the same.

Fossils
This is a decent way to make cash, and can be profitable if you read below :D
Pros:
1. You can sell fossils quicker then holy water.
2. Fossils bring in a easy amount of cash, from 2-6k a piece.
3. If you decide to clean them by yourself you have a chance at getting the Lava Cat Robe
Cons:
1. Unless you have a high production mastery, it can take a long time to gather enough to make a good profit.
2. Unless you have 10 posion immune "points" from armour pieces you can only mine for so long befor going into deadly from sulfur poisoning. Which leaves you vulnerable to sulfur Golems and Wyverns(if you have a flying mount) alike.
3. There are high repair/buy costs, considering you need 2 or 3 pickaxes for a decent amount of fossils.
4. Sulfur Golems can be a pain.
Notes:
If you want to clean the fossils yourself(which can have a decent payout and a chance at the Lava Robe) then check out this site:

Math Dungeon
I will show the pros and cons of doing a normal Math Dungeon
Pros:
1. Kobolds are easy to kill considering there low health rate, with decent drops.
2. It is easy to get common leather which you can sell for 500-1100g each and you usually get a Fine or Finest leather each run.
3. There is always a patch of herbs which can be sold for a decent amount of cash.
Cons:
1. Kobolds have high injury and damage rates, so bring some bandages.
2. Costs can get high for repairs and bandages, so you need to try to sell everything you get from there for as much as possible otherwise you will lose money.

Events
I will show the pros and cons of taking advantage of events
Pros:
1. Some events can be profitable and low to none combat requirments.
2. You can make alot of cash off of event only items.
3. In alot of cases there are no repair costs.
Cons:
1. Some events require a high combat level in order to take advantage of them.
2. Some events give you alot of useless items.
3. Events do end, meaning they are unreliable.
4. Event items can change prices pretty quckly.
5. Reoccuring events can cause some major problems, like item price crashes.
6. Events like dragon boat, though profitable cause long term economic problems which can make you come cash or lose you some cash.

Ballooning and Rafting
I will show the pros and cons of Ballooning
Pros:
1. Even without getting rare items you can get alot of decent exp and money.
2. With a good team you can gather a decent amount of stars quickly.
3. Its alot of FUN :XD:
4. You can get herbs, iron ingots, finest fabrics and alot of other high gold items from rafting which can bring in a large amount of cash.
Cons:
1. You must have a high Magic or Ranging ability to be successful.
2. Though firebolting ice wyverns with a CC(Chain Casting) wand is the most effective way to get stars in ballooning, it does require MP pots, which can be pricy if you can't make them.
3. It is easy to lose at these and can end up costing you money quickly.

Farming
Now we are getting to the meat of making cash. This is how alot of people who don't have time to spend in a dungeon or like to maximise there money do.
Pros:
1. By doing it right you can make up to 735k in a week.(though it is unlikly, because this is the max if no one is selling strawberries, a average amount is 400k a week.)
2. You sell all item to a NPC, so you don't have to sit around in dunbarton asking people if they want to buy.
3. You only have to check on your farm every 20-40 minutes.
Cons:
1. It can be time consuming considering you have to spend 3 hours and 20 minutes(Minimum) to 6 hours and 40 minutes(Maximum), though it is unlikly you will spend that much time because you need to balence out your water,"debug" and fertilization levels to get the best results.
2. You won't have enough time to complete any dungeons or do those larger quests.
3. If you fail, you can lose some cash, but not much.
Notes:
This is a "site?" that I use, found from going to MabiWorld Wiki and going to external links, that is really useful. Please let me be clear that I only use this program and had nothing to do with its creation.
Mabinogi Farm Advisor
Another thing for people to keep in mind is that if you are new to farming, you will need I believe 30,500 gold to start a farm and but the seeds for them.
In my opinion strawberries or tomatoes are the best, dependent on the price change depending on the supplies of that item being sold.
