Small Issue /w Chrome.

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

It's nothing much

When you download something on Google Chrome, you'd normally get the download on the bottom on some side-tab but every time I download a torrent file on Chrome, it automatically opens and sends it to torrent. Does anyone know how I can stop this? It's not 'THAT' important but it does get a bit annoying for some things, such as when I click the wrong torrent to download... then it starts torrenting it... and I gotta go delete it and the file... o_o.

I think I may have clicked the "Always open files of this type." but I can't seem how to undo it.

If I understand what your problem is, click on the wrench next to the address bar, go to Options, Under the Hood, and click on Clear Auto-opening settings under the Download section. Maybe that'll fix it.

Not sure about the OPs problem )=, but thanks for posting this! I never noticed that menu before!
