There's a larger version, but it was too big to upload onto photobucket and I don't want to bother uploading it onto my site server. Anyways, I know I still need to work on anatomy and hands, but one thing I'm having tons of trouble with are flat/low-heeled shoes. I just don't know how to draw them. Anyone know any good shoe tutorials? Overall, I think it turned out pretty nicely though. (woot, this is my first ever thread on Mabination)

I'm also constantly trying to improve my coloring in the "water-color" styled direction, so if anyone knows any really good water-colory CG tutorials, please post them. Thanks!

Although it's a bit spider-leggy, I actually like the hands a lot. A little trimming here and there and a bit of fattening would make it look really good.

The only problem I have with the whole thing is how the head looks 2D compared to the body, and the dress's colouring is a bit messy.

Her right leg is a bit crooked at the thigh and foot.

But overall it's very nice~

Thanks! I tend to like to draw my girls on the skinnier side (err I'm not advocating extreme skinniness in real life though) and I'm still working on trying to shade things correctly. It's kinda hard, even if I think of a light source from one part, but hopefully there'll be improvements over the next...year. I also don't really know how to shade the face even after looking at many pictures of shaded faces. It turns out weird when I try to shade it more in-depth, so the face is usually a bit flatter. Do you have any tips?

There's dark under the hair, sometimes on the side of the nose (depending on light source), a bit on the bottom of the chin and jaw. Slightly darker on the lower portion of the cheeks.
