How do we get rid of these spam emails?

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

Check the mail inside, ignore all of the stuff it askes for you, and look mainly for an Unsubscribe link. Then Unsubscribe. It doesn't matter if you did or not, you want to get rid of it... Right?

No, spam mails like these have FAKE unsubscribe links. They're just traps, if you click one it goes to the advertiser's site where you can probably get a virus.
If you want to check it, use Sandboxie or do it on a test PC.

Hotmail does have sweep. Cleans out most of the junk I get rather easily.

Hotmail sucks. I kept getting that annoying captcha (that wouldn't load for 2 weeks) then when it finally did I had to do it EVERY SINGLE TIME I logged in. ._.

Now I get emails from Blizz about an account I don't have, and failed emails that weren't sent out (I never send emails). It litters my inbox by the hundreds.

I mean seriously.... wtf
