STAR OCEAN: Second Evolution: January 6, 2009
DRAGON QUEST V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride: February 17, 2009
STAR OCEAN: THE LAST HOPE: March 3, 2009
I don't get it. The only bad game in that list is The last hope.

More like, they were all bad games. Squaresoft hasn't released a really good selling game for a very long time.

....What? Have you even played these games?
Just cause it's not a good selling game doesn't mean it's a bad game take ICO for example and if you add piracy into the matter....
Everyone knows Square Enix is just makings horrible games now with the exception of DragonQuest 9. Hell, Sega made a better DS RPG than their final fantasy ports but then again I never liked Square Enix that much.
The Last Hope I can understand being a bad game but not Dragon Quest V and Star Ocean: Second Evolution.
But people have different taste.
Also the DragonQuest V and Star Oceans are remakes from Enix games not SquareSoft.

Mozendo and Endless Dreams, you realize that stock holdings have nothing to do with how good games are right? In fact, they have little to do with how games even sell.
A bunch of old white men sitting at a table with nothing else to talk about than how much money they have, much less have ever actually played a game in their life, probably don't care about the quality of games.
Moreover, a bad game, even a goddamn TERRIBLE game, like sphincter of the universe bad, is in no way ever going to cause a highly reputable company with a long history of good sales to drop half of its stocks in less than 3 months.

Probably hurt by piracy.

Lol if they really did make their 'final' final fantasy, it'd probably wouldn't have a number after it xD Just like how square thought their first one would be.

Square announced FF14 would be the last of the numberic final fantasies.
The rest would be spin offs or junk like crystal chronicles.
Ever since they merged with Enix, Square has been down in the dump. They thought they could release as many junk as they want and ride the "Square" name for sales, which worked until people started to recognize Square games as being bad. Now even if they release a good game, no one will buy it BECAUSE its made by Square.
Not to mention they always overprice their games. They were the only ones who ever charged 50 dollars for DS games.
