Token Planning Guide Re-Revamped with Methods of Obtaining Seals!

Obtaining Seals:

Ruquion's input about the fact that we can gain a large chunk of seals if we end up resurrecting 3 people per run in each of our runs in the week gave me an idea. I didn't really explain about how on would go about gaining seals for this Token Planning Guide, so I'm going to add this little section in.

One can gain 10 extra tokens each day by turning in 40 Seals of Dedication or 60 Seals of Enjoyment to Ceara once a day. The reset time for this quest is 8PM EST.

How do we get these Seals?

Seal of Dedication - Obtained by reviving incapacitated players or doing a Battle with a player who is at least 10 levels below oneself.

Seal of Enjoyment - Currently only obtainable through Fishing. We can gain one each hour by staying on the fishing boat. It is also possible to receive it from the chests that are fished up.

Tips on Obtaining Seals:

Obtaining Seals of Enjoyment is pretty straightforward: Go on a fishing boat and AFK, or fish for a chance of receiving extra Seals.

Obtaining Seals of Dedication can be done in quite a few ways:

1. Host or join a lower level battle to help players who are lower level than yourself. This nets you 1 Seal per Battle.

2. Try to be the first to revive a player who is incapacitated in a battle. This nets you 1 Seal per person.

3. Make a party with a few friends and go to "Hoarfrost Hollow" or "Culprit Behind the Disturbance" The optimal way to do this would be to buy yourself a set of Premium Rookie Gear and equip the free weapons that are sold in the shops. Carry as many feathers as you want, 3 Phoenix Feathers, and 1 Party Phoenix Feather if you're willing to throw money around. Run the Dungeon until you reach the crazy spike trap. Have 3 people in the group run under the trap and hit the switch. This results in instantly killing 3 of the players, and potentially breaking their armor (two birds with one stone!). Afterward, use your phoenix feathers, and/or party feather if you wish. This will net you 3 Tokens for your phoenix feathers, and 1 for your party feather (note this requires killing your 3 friends twice). Then the next person gets to hit the switch.
SHoarfrost Hollow is a good battle to choose early in the game, but has a weird camera thinger in the beginning that many will find annoying. Culprit Behind the Disturbance isn't unlocked until around level 27 and spawns a bigger mob of enemies in the first room, but can be dealt with quickly with a full party of 4.

Nice guide, much better than mine =s
At 72 runs a week, you can easily get 216 Seals if you revive 3 people in each run, which makes it plausible to get the 280 Seals needed for 170 Tokens a week.

If you ever run out of tokens, you can still continue doing runs as long as you create a mule.
Vindictus is restricted to one instance per Windows account, so you can easily feed yourself tokens by opening Vindictus on another account and switching users.

BTW, is it possible for you to post the original picture? It seems to me that it has been downscaled or something...

I'll upload my Word File, since that was what my original plan was made with. I decided to make a picture file because I thought it would be easier to deal with.

    Much better.

Seems like it's going to be a major PITA to get all those seals though...

Thanks for this! Gonna be very useful. I already have my Evie token usage figured out. Since she will have two days until token reset. ^_^

:D It is a nice guide. Though I am glad I have you personally, so I don't haveta keep going back to the charts. I don't suppose, though, that you could make the (50 tokens, 60 tokens, etc) part bold? xD Just to make it easier to read for others.

I honestly didn't read the text, just looked at the chart. :p

Looking for a party to do this with >>

Party feathers only give 1 Seal of dedication no matter how many people you have res. I have tried this using various number of dead people and it is still always 1.

Hoarfrost Hollow isnt' the best mission to farm Seals, due to the freaking long cutscene in the beginning.
I think Culprit Behind the Disturbance has the same layout for the first map...

I wouldn't mind doing it with you, if you still need people on Wednesday. xD I refuse to do it on my Fiona though, so you'd have to wait for the Evy.

On another note. Whee! You updated the pictures and put bold in, thank you. And actually reading all that and trying to figure everything out makes my head hurt. :T_T:

The cutscene isn't much of a problem since you can kill the kobolds and run in the correct direction all during the cutscene. Also Culprit Behind the Disturbance MAY have the same layout for the first map, but since it's randomized, this may not end up being the first map.

sure x3 ill be using evy wednesday lol

How many runs can i do in one day with 30 tokens?

You know, I was thinking about it... and using the hoarfrost party revival feather method...

What about the assist feature? I don't know the max party size, but shouldn't it be theoretically possible to revive the maximum party limit with a single feather and get that many seals? So, if it's 10 players or something total then you'd get 10 seals with 1 feather... very cost effective I think, and it'd be a lot faster. Especially if there's a higher limit...

I don't know what the limit is, but it's obviously not the normal party size limit. A guildie of mine told me earlier they've seen up to 8 people in a game with assist.

Someone should try it! I'd say I would, but I could never manage to get my friends on at the same time. :( I think they have a fear of each other. I wonder if it'd be possible though, cause if we can do what Tasha suggests, imagine how fast getting the seals would go! :D

Though, if we can only get one seal with the party revival - I don't think it's really worth wasting the money for it. Unless you really have money to waste and are that desperate for seals. It'd be easier to just use the traps, exit without doing the boss, and then go in again. Do it for like an hour or so a day if your friends are nice enough.
