That means a +x fire damage enchant would divide over Flamer's ranks. At rank 1, +6 damage would be +1.2 to each hit..? which seems improbable.
Normal damage+ enchants doesn't affect alchemy, or am I wrong?
I meant, if it's... say, +6 Fire Alchemic Damage, it'll apply to per hit of 1 charge.
Let's say you use 1 charge of r1 Flame Burst (max dmg of 42). That means, in total, you get 5 hits with 42 dmg each, or 110 dmg total.
If you apply a +6 Fire Alchemic Damage enchant, it will apply to the dmg per hit
of that charge. So it's 42 + 6 = 48 dmg.
48 dmg x
5 hits of 1 charge of r1 Flame Burst = 140 dmg.
Formula for Alchemic dmg is, I believe:
(Skill rank's dmg + Cylinder dmg upgrade + Alchemic dmg enchant) * (Number of charges + Skill's bonus multiplier if using 5 charges) * (Elemental Cylinder dmg bonus) + regular dmg enchant
So, if you use 5 charges of r1 Flame Burst while under the effect of +6 Fire Alchemic Damage...
(42 + 0 + 6) * (5 + 2.2) * (1) + 0 = (48) * (7.2) = 345.6 dmg per hit
Multiply 345.6 dmg by 5 hits (because it's r1 Flame Burst), and you get 1728 potential dmg.
Correct me if I'm wrong though. That's the current formula I'm following for Water Cannon, Flame Burst, Wind Blast, and Sand Burst.
As for your other question, I think regular dmg enchant gets added onto Alchemy dmg after everything else but Critical Hit/Defense/Protection gets calculated. Like a +4 max dmg Fox enchant will add +4 max dmg on top of the dmg already dealt by a fully charged Water Cannon (so not per charge).
