Are There Any "Book" Skills That Can Reach Rank 1? ANYWHERE?

  R1 is supposed to be an accomplishment, you don't get that from books. If cooking was uncapped they wouldn't book the last rank probably, and rest or firstaid are useless to try to attach a not stupid training method. I mean seriously, firstaid cant do "deadly" like healing and resting is just, derp.

  I think cooking would be fine to keep the way it is. A bit of training and then reading a book to learn a new method of cooking.
  Though, they could just as easily make it a quest.
  
  But, yeah, for things like first aid and rest... It would be hard to add things other than just quests of reading books since you can't exactly TRAIN those things...
  Well, maybe first aid, you could add training to it... but I don't think it'd work out that much better than how it is atm.
  But rest... how would that work...?
  Getting training for resting a certain period? xD
  
  I dunno, I just wish these things were uncapped.
  I'd love uncapped Cooking, Meditation, and First Aid. Heh.
  
  
  Also, getting a new rank in these skills is still an accomplishment, sometimes.

  I'm convinced that Rank 5 Cooking should be Ice Cream / "Freezing". Make frozen crap, which is totally better than making preserves.

  *shrug* Say what you will. There's nothing wrong with trying a simple resting pose nor is it weird. It doesn't prove that I played Mabinogi too much and it could merely be a curious thought as to whether the pose is comfortable or not.
  
  Take this as an example: You went to a fair/festival and there's a bow shooting range. You see someone who is good with the bow and watch how their posture is and how they fire off the bow at the target as well as their stance. When you pay the guy to try out the range, you try to imitate that person's posture, movement, and stance just to land the arrow on the target. Is that saying that you play with the bow too much? No, you are just curious whether his posture, stance, and movement could help you hit your own target. Same thing with trying out the resting pose, seeing if it is comfortable or not.
  
  Now, trying to imitate Tekken Moves or some crazy techniques off a video, now that's crazy and a different story.

  They should make it be quest requirements, but more logical, but difficult and lengthy or some sort of plot device saying you need 5 parts. Would make it a decent requirement.
