Returning to Character Selection ingame: Possible?

During EAOB, I though we had it. Since I have two, tomorrow three, characters, this would be very helpful to have. If we have it, I just don't seem to see it(and logging out and back in is just annoying...

iirc, there's a Log Out (or something) button in the menu on the bottom right.
It should take you to the main menu, from where you just click Start Game.

Yeah, I know that.
It's just that I have to log back on each time I do that. I was wondering if we could just go back to Character Select, like in Mabi, DFO, and all those other games out there. I even though we had it in EAOB, though I could be wrong.

Well, we don't have a direct to char selection to my knowledge.

Though if you weblaunch, the time it takes to log in again is negligable.

I think the problem is that you're logging in from Vindictus.exe itself. If you do this, you need to log back in each time. If you log in from the Vindictus main page, and click the West Server button to get into the client, you won't have to log in each time you click Start the Game. This, however is more tedious if you decided to make a second account for mules because you'll have to end game and log into your second account before restarting the client.

It's like Damn said. return to main menu is all there is. It never had the function like mabinogi where it'd go to a char select screen directly. just goes back to the boat screen. the other option being exit game where you'd have to sign in the web.

If you log in via the website it returns you to the selection. If you log in via the exe it logs you out completely.

Ah, oh well. Kinda weird to not have it, but I guess that's fine. Do they ever change it in the future then?

Edit: Ok, so you go directly to the selection from the log out button if you're logged on the website, or do you still go to the "Start Game" screen?

You go to the start game screen, but if you opened the client through the website, clicking "Start Game" won't ask you to log in again. If you open the game through vindictus.exe, it'll prompt you to log in again.

Ok. So, do they ever change it in Mabinogi Heroes? Seeing as going back to that screen seems kinda pointless.

if you log in from the website, then the "main page" is only a single button away from character selection, which takes... 1 second to load.
