it sucks for those who planned on scythe and put on their ap into skills that would benefit them on scythe...
they'll have to stay with staff with unranked magic until scythe come out.. =(
There isn't too much stuff they could've screwed up on. I personally was going Int Mastery and MM before STR or Smash just because Evy Melee is gimped unless you have high ranks in both skills and a good Scythe.

I haven't decided yet if this one's going to be a scythe... I'd planned my main being a scythe Evie, but I dunno if I really want to have two Evies. I have two Fionas already and I hardly play one of them. So, one Fiona & one Evie may be enough... eventually she'll have both anyways.
I wanted Scythe, but I suppose I'll just max scythe related things till we get them (hopefully in ~2 weeks). The stuff's pretty AP intense, so even the stuff beneficial to both may not be done by then lol.

Dammit, so much for capping Strength Mastery.
Oh well, I like the perfect even Melle/Magic Damage. Lol.

This is EXACTLY what Nexon deserves for overhauling the token system. I'm always amazed at how some people simply cannot realize that Vindictus is NOT an MMO and does NOT have nearly the content or distractions that a traditional MMO has, and thus NEEDS the token cap to stop it from becoming repetitive. Since Nexon follows the Korean releases pretty much to a T, scythes may not come out for a while...they said that they were releasing Evie, and made no mention of scythe. Directly quoting:
'Evie is a powerful magician who supports her allies with both her spells and alchemical abilities. Wielding a STAFF, she summons golems, revives allies, and uses ancient magic to perform devastating attacks.'
Even reading the GS coverage:
'We're told that Evie's alternate weapon WILL BE a giant scythe...'
Now the GS coverage is a little wonky to begin with, as they make mention of Laan and Fiona's secondary weapons which are already in the game. I would think if it was accidental that the scythe was not added in there would be some mention of it on the 'Introducing Evie' page.

Well problem is they hyped out evie's Scythe basically... heck the picture to intro her being added on the 27th FEATURES the Scythe and flaunts it in peoples face.

I don't want to comment about your opinion on the token system because I'm afraid I'll say nasty nasty things.
As for your blah-blah-quotes... You're wrong.
Evie can also summon golems to do her bidding. . .
Evie can learn to use a scythe for powerful close range attacks!

Alchemy: Create Golem
Golems attack enemies for a fixed period of time. Be careful, as Evie takes damage when her Golem is attacked. If Evie becomes incapacitated, her Golem dies.

Both Scythe and Golems advertised. Do we have either? Newp. Sure don't. :what:

Funny part is, they haven't said whether it is implemented or not on the forums or anything.
I remember, well I guess this is a bad example but in Mabinogi, there were questions about the game that were answered from Nexon themselves, such as whether the red dragon field boss was implemented, etc.
